The house is made for couples, families and friends looking for more affordable accomodation while still having all the benefits of a great holiday.

It has an abundance of charm and character that only comes from the traditional beach house that reflects holidays of yesteryear, while still providing all the comforts of home.

If your off to the beach you can take one of the surfboards, boogie or skiffle boards and beach toys that are available at the house.

If your wanting a lazy day enjoy watching FOXTEL on the Plasma inside or outside on our mounted T.V. with a relaxing drink at our 'Happy Hour' bar, or enjoy one of the many, many games, or books on offer.

Wet weather will not ruin any B.B.Q. plans as the outside entertaining area is quite large and fully undercover.

There is an outside chimnea for an enjoyable evening round the fire.

When going for a walk, Blue Lake is across the road, this is a popular spot to take dog's and children for a walk and has a lot of friendly ducks.

We are always happy to have later checkout of up to 2pm when there is no back to back booking.

Locality

It is approximately 1 1/2 hours from Melbourne and 25 mins from Geelong.
We are directly opposite the entrance to Blue Waters Lake, which is a fun walk for kids and your dogs, with a playground on the other side across the road.
A short walk to 2 milk bars and take-away
5 - 10 min. walk to shops, cafes and restaurants.
Barwon River is 800m away to the jetty for fishing or if you have a boat, to the boat ramp, with the golf club next to it with green fees and club hire available.
A 15 min walk on Field St. (which is just around the corner) takes you directly to the patrolled Ocean Grove surf beach.
A longer walk of about 40 mins will take you across the bridge (which is also a popular spot for fishing) to Barwon Heads, where their are beachside cafes and Barwon Heads Pub across the road.
For fun there is Adventure Park, Bellarine Golf, A Maze n Games and The Bellarine Aquatic and Sports Centre all within a 15 minute drive.
Approx 10 k's easterly will take you to the beautiful, historical Queenscliff and the hourly ferry (7am-6pm) which will take you on a trip to Sorrento in about 40 mins.
Geelong is 25k's away and is a fantastic day trip. Eastern Beach has its city landmark art deco pool and other attractions include seaplane, helicopter rides, Bay Cruises and Jet Boat Wild Rides.
The popular surfing towns of Bells Beach, Jan juc and Torquay are about a 20 minute drive south-westerly.
Torquay has many surf shops and discount outlets, a surf museum and is the beginning of The Great Ocean Road which takes you on a wonderful trip of spectacular views of Bass Strait and to many picturesque coastal towns inviting you to join them.
There are maps of Ocean Grove and surrounds and many brochures and information available to help you on your way including local fishing charters, surfing lessons, markets, Adventure Parks, cafes, wineries and tours, restaurants, upcoming events, or for just a ph. no. for local pizza delivery.

Long Weekends are a minimum of 3 nights.
Midweek stays are a minimum of 3 nights.
