THE HOUSE
There are queen sized beds in two of the bedrooms and a king single with bunk beds in the third bedroom.

All bedrooms have built in wardrobes and offer loads of hanging space. Bedside tables with lamps and digital alarm clocks are also in each bedroom.

There is extra bedding available with pull out mattresses for a small fee. All linen, blankets, donas, pillows and bath towels are supplied and of a high quality.

The main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and the family bathroom has separate toilet, bath/shower area and a separate vanity.

The living dining area is open plan and offers comfortable seating, TV, DVD and stereo system with USB connection. There is a range of movies that you are welcome to watch or you can bring your own. There is a large dining table with seating for 8 for family gatherings.

The kitchen opens onto the living area and you will find everything needed if you decide to stay in and prepare meals at home. There is a fridge freezer, microwave oven, pots and pans and plenty of serving dishes and platters. Crockery and cutlery for the whole family. There is a dishwasher making cleaning up a breeze.

Enjoy sitting on the small balcony off the living area with your morning cup of tea and newspaper. It has a delightful outlook over natural bushland.

Downstairs there is a laundry with washing machine, clothes airer and an extra toilet to service the outdoor BBQ area. There is an undercover outdoor area downstairs that has a BBQ, fridge and outdoor table and chairs. This is a lovely cool area to relax and catch up on life. The yard is fully fenced so children can play safely.

There is undercover parking at the side of the property and parking for another three cars or a boat at the front of the cottage. There is reserve at the back and side of the property so off street parking is never an issue.

Bring your kids, friends, bikes (BMX track at back of property that the kids can use), boat, fishing gear and anything else that you want to have an ideal holiday getaway.

THE SURROUNDS

Kit Kat Cottage is just a short stroll to Corrigans Beach where you can swim, boat or just enjoy the beautiful scenery.

During the peak season you can hire catamarans or jet skis from this beach. It is an easy walk up the beach to the main boat ramp. The carnival comes to Batehaven every year during the Xmas holidays and sets up at Corrigans Beach. It is great fun for all the family.

You can walk around the corner from Kit Kat Cottage and find Batehaven shopping centre. It has a newsagency, supermarket, butcher, chemist, video store, bottle shop, service station and numerous restaurants. There is yummy fish and chips and Chinese take away as well. ATM facilities are readily available.

There are plenty of things to see and do around the area:

Fishing and boating: bring your own gear or go on a river, bay or deep-sea outing.

Jet skiing and scuba diving: local companies specialise in these activities.

Bush Walking: great bush walking opportunities in the nearby Murramarang National Park

Birdland Animal Park: many species of animals, birds and reptiles.

Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Gardens: native display gardens and walking tracks

Monague Island: home to seals, dolphins and turtles. You can take a charter boat for a day trip.

Pebbly Beach: large resident kangaroo and native bird population. Great for photo opportunities!

Nelligen: small country town on the Clyde River

Mogo: a cute village shopping strip with all sorts of unique and hand crafted items, galleries, antiques and cafes.

Mogo Zoo: is the renowned home to many exotic, endangered and rare animals.

Old Mogo Town: Gold Rush Theme Park

Tilba Tilba: Historic village with cafes and great local cheese making. Beautiful countryside.

New Years Carnival at Corrigan’s Beach: Touring amusement park with many rides, flashing lights and fireworks for New Years Eve. Excellent fun!
