‘Pearl Beach Retreat’ is a classic 1950’s beach house located within the gorgeous National Trust village of Pearl Beach, just 90 minutes north of the Sydney CBD.
Set deep amongst the rainforest canopy in the tranquil northern end of the village, the house is just 250 metres (a three minute walk) from the secluded beach cove. Backing directly onto the National Park, the house is a haven for wildlife and provides the ideal location for families or couples to relax and totally unwind.
Featured in SMH ‘Domain’ magazine in June 2009, the house has been renovated and is tastefully furnished in circa 1950’s Danish furniture. It contains 3 bedrooms and expansive internal living areas which flow onto spacious outdoor entertainment areas at both the front and rear of the house.
Activities available within the local area include: swimming, surf lessons, kayaking, fishing, boat hire, tennis, golf and some amazing bush walking. Good restaurants within the area include: Pearl's, Bells (Kilcare), Patonga Hotel and those at Palm Beach are just a 20 minute ferry ride away.
Please note:
1. Small and medium sized dogs are allowed on application
2. No smoking is allowed inside the house
3. Linen and towels not provided
With five separate and distinctively different living areas, Pearl Beach Retreat provides numerous options for both relaxing and entertaining.

Fitted with an external shower, foot bath, bench table and secure equipment store it provides the perfect place to load / unload all your things when coming to and from the beach.
SUNKEN LOUNGE ROOM
The lounge room is a separate cosy space that connects to main entry and front deck. It is fitted with a 4 seat ‘Parker’ lounge, 2 lounge chairs, a large coffee table, teak built-in bookshelf and a king sized day bed. It also contains a wall mounted 94cm HD LCD digital television, DVD, VIDEO and CD players, not too mention plenty of good books, board games and jigsaw puzzles.
DINING / LIVING ROOM
This generous open planned space connects directly to the kitchen, reflection pond, BBQ island and both courtyards. It is furnished with a large teak B&B style ‘breakfast’ buffet unit and a gorgeous 10 seat ‘Parker’ teak table. The room also has its own IPOD dock.

Designed for the gourmet traveler, the kitchen is incredibly well equipped with all the mod cons including fan-forced oven, gas cook top, range hood, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer. Other fittings and appliances include: juicer, coffee plunger, sandwich maker, blender, kettle, toaster, plenty of pots and pans, non stick wok…etc.
COVERED COURTYARD / BBQ ISLAND
The large rear covered courtyard is paved in travertine and opens onto the lush landscaping that leads up into the National Park. REAR COURTYARD / FIRE PIT
Separated from the covered courtyard by the succulent garden and timber bridge, the rear courtyard provides an intimate and relaxing space to enjoy the great outdoors. Fitted with a teak sun bed, outdoor fireplace and timber bench seats – it’s the perfect place to either top up your suntan during the day or toast a few marshmallows under the evening stars.
