A natural paradise nestled amidst beautiful rural and bushland surroundings on 36 superb acres in the foothills of Gulaga Mountain, our two private cottages 'Summercloud' (for up to 4 guests) and 'Summerbreeze' (just for a couple) are a delightful spot to stay if you are looking for a truly natural experience. Both cottages offer comfortable, spacious, quality self-contained and self-catering accommodation for your short getaway or longer holiday.
'SUMMERCLOUD' (for up to 4 guests) sits atop the ridge, providing spectacular views across the property and towards Gulaga. The cottage has spacious kitchen/dining/living area, cosy wood fire, two bedrooms and a bathroom. A sunny north-facing verandah provides the ideal spot to relax with a cuppa, read a good book and soak up the peace and tranquillity as birdsong serenades.
'SUMMERBREEZE' (just for two) - The ideal retreat for a couple ... cosy and comfortable. The cottage is set amidst a stand of Ironbarks and blends beautifully into this serene natural environment. It has a lovely country atmosphere with the warmth of timber, cosy lounge/dining/kitchen area with wood fire for the cooler months, one comfy bedroom and a bathroom. A private sunny verandah overlooks the valley and hills beyond, and is a delightful spot to observe the alpacas grazing peacefully below, and listen to the tinkle of the Bellbirds.
The stunning 'Couria Creek' property on which the cottages are situated, is a wonderful natural paradise, with over 95 species of birds, much wildlife, and is also home to an array of farm animals, alpacas, donkeys, cattle, ducks and geese. You can spend time with the animals, or just take a wander around the property and discover its natural beauty.
Whilst you are staying here at 'Couria Creek' you are most welcome to visit our GUMNUT HIDEAWAY GALLERY which exhibits and offers for sale images on canvas by local nature and landscape photographer and owner of the property Lindy Quin.
Rates for are from $180.00 per double per night (Off Season) to $210.00 per double per night (Peak Season) + $30.00 per night extra adult + $15.00 per night per child in 'Summercloud'.
One night stays are not accepted. Minimum stays do apply, they differ depending on Season. EASTER minimum THREE nights. Long weekends/Public holiday weekends minimum stay is THREE nights. School Holiday minimum stays vary depending on the season.
Payment: Deposit is by direct bank transfer and balance is cash on arrival.
Non-Smoking establishment and NO pets allowed.
