A spacious 3-4 BR beach bungalow with lots of room, plenty of essentials including dishwasher, well-equipped kitchen, video, CD/DVD, library, comfortable couches, new beds and everything you need for a relaxing stay. Tranquil location close to beach and bush in the sleepy fishing village of Currarong. Leafy garden and nearby national parks and state forests appeals to bird watchers and nature lovers, and the verandah attracts loafers.

Location

2 minutes walk to several beaches, the start of many bushwalks, yet the house is far enough to escape from the peak season madding crowds near the shops. Overlooks the park, with views and glimpses over ocean, beaches, and mountains (when you can see past the garden, which is getting quite leafy). Within 30-60 minutes drive of mountains, the Shoalhaven estuary, Jervis Bay, Kangaroo Valley, or the remote Boyd Bundanon artist retreat.

Local Attractions

Bushwalking to the nearby forests, cliffs, and national parks, BYO bike riding, tennis, surfing, diving/snorkelling near the fabulous tidal rock lap pool, sailing, boating/kayaking, fishing, birdwatching, swimming in the quiet Abraham's Bosom beach, rock pool or surf, and exploring the Shoalhaven region.

There's wild open surf beaches, tidal creeks and sanctuaries, protected quiet beaches, and the various sea nooks of the Beecroft Headland reserves, such as Honeymoon Bay or remote Target Beach.
