Allambie Cottages and Allambie House give you a place to relax yet still keep in touch with the outside world 'if you wish' with Free unlimited internet access via Wi-Fi
All our accommodation is equiped with reverse cycle air conditioning to keep you warm in winter and cool in summer.
Allambie House does have a slow combustion wood fire if required for extra ambiance (wood supplied)
The 3 cottages are designed for the comfort of 2-4 people. The style is open plan so that the bedroom on the mezzanine floor is open to the lounge area.
One cottage has the addition of a second bedroom and one has the addition of a large leather sofa that converts to a double bed in the lounge area in case extra family or friends are staying or just for those of us that snore or kick in our sleep.
All linen and eco toiletries are supplied.
Parents please note that the cottages have open wire balustrade to the stairs and Mezzanine floor so care must be taken with young children and crawling babies.
Allambie House is ideal for children and pets (no carpet). It has its own stayz site (Allambie House Bright) and can also be viewed by googling the cottages or house name.
BOOKING CALENDER AND PRICES
The 1 bedroom cottages have a base price of $175/night -2 Guests.
The 2 bedroom cottage has a base price of $225/night (1 x king bed, 2 x king single beds)up to 4 Guests.
The 3 bedroom Allambie House (1 x king bed, 1 x Queen bed, 2 x single beds plus additional sofa bed) has a base price of $250/night (up to 6 Guests)
One nights stays incur a surcharge and are available mid week (Sunday to Thursday) but not in School holidays .
The 'Availability Calendar' below refers to all our Cottages/House and so cannot accurately show individual Cottage/House availability. An up to date Calendar for each individual cottage is on our own Allambie Cottages Bright site and includes other specials and 1 night rates.
PETS
For those guests that travel with their pets each cottage has a fully fenced private courtyard. Pets are also allowed inside whilst you are there.
There is an additional pet charge to cover the extra cleaning for health regulations.
Please remember under NO circumstances may your pet be left on the premises unattended and anything left by your pet (sticks, droppings etc.) must be removed when you leave
SLEEPING AND RELAXING
Allambie Cottages can sleep between 1 and 5 guests and the house can sleep betwwen 1 and 8 guests (see seperate Stayz site or google - Allambie House Bright).
Allambie Cottages - each has a King sized bed on the mezzanine floor. These beds have an electric blanket plus warm doonas.
Cottage 1 additionally has a convertible Ottoman to single bed.
Cottage 2 additionally has on the ground floor in the lounge area a leather sofa that converts to an inner spring mattress double bed .
Cottage 3 has a second bedroom with 2 king single beds (plus can have the addition of a convertible Ottoman to single bed).
All linen and eco toiletries are supplied. Extra Linen for the sofa bed/Ottoman is supplied at an additional charge when more than 2 people book.
There are flat screen panel TVs in the lounge area and on the mezzanine level bedroom ( or in the main bedroom at Allambie House) in case you just want to snuggle up and watch a movie.
Allambie House has the addition of a large 50" 3D TV and BluRay player so that you can watch some of our 3D movie titles (3D 'active' glasses provided) or rent your own.
Each has full kitchen facilities with cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Coffee machine etc.
Tea and coffee supplies include Australian leaf tea and 'Sacred Grounds' Fair-trade Organic Plunger coffee
Each has a private BBQ situated in its exclusive fully fenced courtyard garden at the cottages or on the spacious deck at the house.
All have a laundry with washing machine and clothes drier plus iron/ironing board.
Locality
Allambie cottages are located close to the Ovens river for relaxing walks along its banks or enjoying the view watching paragliders launch from the Mystic take off.
Allambie House is at the start of the town and backs onto the Rail Trail with the Ovens river walks just across the road.
There are many wineries that are a pleasant drive away or bicycle ride along the trail for the more energetic.
Mt buffalo, Mt Hotham, Mt Beauty, Harrietville and Wandilogong are just a few of the places that are easily accessible from Bright.
In winter the snow fields are a pleasant drive but please do not forget your chains or hire them in town.
