Neates Den is a spacious, comfortable, three-bedroom holiday home in Blackheath which has everything you need for a relaxing stay in the Blue Mountains.
The house is ideal for families or a group of friends with ample space for entertaining and is pet-friendly. A spacious, modern, well-equipped kitchen and large dining area leads out onto an expansive deck with a rustic outdoor setting, gas barbeque and a pet-friendly, secure garden.
The house is situated close to a golf course and within easy reach of Evans Lookout, which overlooks the heritage-listed Grose Valley, which offers supreme bushwalking opportunities.
Neates Den can comfortably accommodate up to seven people, with two queen rooms and one double/single bunk room. In winter you'll love the convenience of gas central heating for warm and cosy nights. The house has one bathroom plus one separate toilet/laundry.
The cliff-top walk to Govetts Leap, Bridal Veil Falls, the Grand Canyon Walk and Neates Glen rainforest are all accessible on foot, while the town centre with its cafes, restaurants and antique shops is a short 2.5km drive.
Features
Pillow, blankets and donas are provided. We ask guests to take their own linen and towels. All three bedrooms have cupboard space to hang clothes.
Neates Den is ideal for children and pets with a spacious, secure garden. The fully-equipped kitchen has a gas cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with freezer. The cupboards are well stocked with all you need for self-catering.
The bathroom has a bath and shower with instant hot water, while a second bathroom with toilet and laundry facilities will ensure a comfortable stay in the Blue Mountains.
We have digital television with excellent reception, plus DVD and hifi for entertainment. You'll also find maps and information on local attractions.
Attractions
Blackheath offers fantastic bushwalking for all levels. Walk the scenic clifftop track to take in Evans Lookout, Bridal Veil Falls and Govetts Leap. Take a gentle stroll along the Braeside Track or Neates Glen walk, or try something more adventurous like the stunning Grand Canyon track or head down to the Blue Gum forest.
Neates Den is situated close to a golf course. For the more adventurous rock climbing is a popular activity in the Blackheath area and there are also some great mountain biking tracks, if two wheels is your thing.
Blackheath village has a range of coffee shops and restaurants and some lovely antique shops. And of course don't miss the town's famous Rhododendron gardens in spring. From Blackheath it's easy to reach the Megalong Valley, ZigZag Railway and the Jenolan Caves.
