I can't imagine that there would be any place better in Apollo Bay to stay if you want a relaxed beach shack feel - but with all the comforts. It's on the Great Ocean Road but is still private with a lovely native garden in front, spectacular views from from all the main rooms and just has a magic feel. We felt very fortunate to have discovered Driftwood.

As soon as we walked in the door at Driftwood, we felt so relaxed and had that relaxed holiday feel. The view from living room is amazing and not only is the beach just across the road but there are great big trees you can sit under for heaps of shade which was perfect as we have two toddlers. The house was equipped with everything, we enjoyed having bbq's out the back on the deck. We would stay here again for sure!

A very relaxing stay at this house which feels more like a home than other places we have rented. Great to have a hop skip and a jump to the quiet part of the beach and to be able to sleep to the sound of the surf.
The owner was great and made sure all was good and was responsive to any issue.
Looking forward to a return stay!

Had a great weekend at this fantastic house. The house is lovely with spacious, comfy rooms and the decor has a real beach theme going on. We had family with us from Ireland it was the highlight of their trip. Mick and Marie Louise were great to deal with and our 2 year old had a ball hanging out. We'ld love to make it back to this really great property, which is an ideal getaway with family & friends.

Driftwood is a perfect holiday house. It is the right mix of comfort, beachy style and natural materials which made you feel on holiday and calmed as soon as you arrived. The space was perfect for our 4 young children, and being able to use the boogy boards and fishing rods was wonderful. On arrival, despite the 13 degree temperature, the kids were racing across to the beach for a swim! We would love to come back.

Great place with beautiful view and an interesting garden for our grandsons to play in. Very comfortable,everything we needed and spacious enough for our large family group. Would definately stay there again if ever back in that area.

Fantastic weekend at a marvelous property. Spectacular views, great location, beautiful surroundings. House Interior was very clean, comfortable, and had all the little extras you could need. If you book you wont be disappointed.

A fun experience - right across from the beach, the house had plenty of sunshine and full views of the ocean and was surprisingly warm when the weather changed. The place fitted our group comfortably with 2 couples and 2 young kids and there was space for more!

The photos dont lie. We think Driftwood is pretty special. Great ocean (180') view flanked by the hills rolling down. Its well equipped throughout, simply but stylishly done to a good spec'. Plenty of space. We had some "high-maintenance" rellies from UK & they loved it too. Ideal either for a party of 4 adults or for a family with children. The beach is visible both from the balcony at the front and from inside as far back as the kitchen at the rear. We had a great time.
