Misty Mountain.., one hour easy drive from the CBD of Sydney or Newcastle is an ideal green valley retreat, picturesque and therapeutic to the soul and senses, just 10 minutes off the F3. Where you can enjoy seclusion, horse riding or beaches a short drive away.

Native wild life sightings equalled only by the beauty of stock horses and cattle grazing in the fields, which is only eclipsed by the river criss-crossing its way through this valley property.

There are of course wonderful river banks to sit back relax and enjoy, go fishing, take a picnic lunch, or settle into the BBQ Cabin and just while away the hours with a BBQ and cold drink with family and friends.

Misty Mountain is perfect for the couple or family wishing to escape the city and its constraints, a place to come and relax and enjoy the splendour of a contented life, soak in the surrounds, absorb the peace, take time to explore the natural bush surrounds, ride a horse, paint a picture, read a book, discover history, step back in time, visit historic Wollembi and Laguna, then continue to the vineyards of the Hunter Valley with its many wines and cheeses, never a dull moment, unless you want one and then it is called... taking time out.

The Homestead and The Bunk House are both totally self sufficient and self catered.., a home away from home.
For guest comfort Misty Mountain supplies:

• All Linen... bed, bath and kitchen
• Electric Blankets and a cosy fire for winter
• Reading material and board games
• Binoculars for native fauna
• TV, DVDs and CDs… (in-house movies and music available)
• BBQ Cabin - open fire place (mashmallow and chest nut roasting)
• Feed the farm animals... horses and cattle
• Stroll along the river bank catch glimpses of platypus and bass


The Homestead boasts

3rd Bedroom - 2 x Single Beds
Open plan, lounge dining kitchen, which all open out onto 12 foot wide verandah
Bathroom (shower and old claw foot bath)

Floor coverings - blue gum hardwood floors with 100% Australian wool carpet in bedrooms

The kitchen is fully equipped, though not fully stocked (basics only) so you will need to bring food items essential for your comfort. Tuggerah Shopping Centre is 10 minutes down the road, or our own quaint County General Store is 10 minutes up the road... the Valley also boasts our own licensed Country Restaurant..., beautiful.

Laundry facilities are also available, but you will need to bring your own laundry supplies.


The Bunk House (please see rates below) boasts a unique set-up...
3 bedrooms
Room 1 - Queen sized bed
Room 2 - 2 bunk beds (sleeps 4)
Room 3 - Queen sized bed
All with access to combined fully equipped country style kitchen, lounge room, laundry and bathroom.

The kitchen is fully equipped, though not fully stocked (basics only) so you will need to bring food items essential for your comfort. Tuggerah Shopping Centre is 10 minutes down the road, or our own quaint Country General Store is 10 minutes up the road... the Valley also boasts our own licensed Country Restaurant..., beautiful.


Additional Guest Facilities... a BBQ Cabin with BBQ facilities and open fire place, also a Colonial Round-Table Courtyard where you can sit and enjoy a drink and a chat.

All rates quoted include 10% GST.

TERMS and CONDITIONS
Rates are subject to change without notice.

A Bond of $300.00 for the "Bunk House" and $500.00 for the "Homestead" plus a current Australian Driver's License is required at check-in to cover breakages, damage, and or excessive cleaning fee to property.

Houses are to be left in a clean and tidy state to avoid additional cleaning fees.

Smokers, no smoking in doors, enjoy a coffee and a cigarette outside.

Children – Welcome under parental or guardian supervision and responsibility at all times.

Check–In - 2.00 pm Check–Out - 10.00 am

A deposit of 50% is required to confirm any booking, with the balance payable at check-in. Credit Cards Not Accepted.

Terms for Refunds:- Refunds will be paid in full for 30 days notice prior to booking date. All other cancellations up to 7 days prior to booked date will be re-booked for a later date. Cancellation notice of 7 days or less will result in forfeiture of deposit.

Only written cancellations will be accepted for refunds, in the event of notice being received 7 days or less, forfeiture of deposit results, unless another booking is taken for the entire period cancelled.

Payment options: Electronic Transfer for deposit (phone for details) - balance cash or electronic transfer on arrival. Sorry No Credit Cards.

Week: $1050
$170 per couple per night mid-week (queen beds)
$70 per Bunk per Night
Weekend: $380 per couple
Minimum stay 2 nights
