  • "We loved staying at 'the Nook'. I took my mum and my two daughters aged 4 and 6 for a quick school holiday getaway - and it was brilliant. The house had so much character and the property had such a wonderful garden and playroom for the kids to enjoy. Would definitely stay there again! "

  • "Such a beautiful property, in an outstanding location close to everything you require but still feels as if you a million miles away from everyone else. Highly recommended!! We loved our two nights in this house it felt like our home the second we walked in. "

  • "We visited our son from the UK and couldn't have chosen to stay at a nicer place in the Blue Mountains. It was close to all the attractions including Leura where there were so many places to dine. The 'nook' had more than enough space for the 2 of us with very spacious rooms and the gardens and play area for our grandson were immaculate. We will definitely recommend the 'nook' to all our friends! The Blue Mountains really are majestic."

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 'The Nook'- a beautiful property with gorgeous gardens and a lovely old historical home which was decorated to a high standard. "The Nook" of course possessed a most wonderful original fireplace in the lounge room and plenty of wood was available to build glorious fires each evening so this is where we would gather with a glass of wine in hand! The kitchen was also fantastic- extremely well stocked with great appliances and utensils . Very inspiring to whip up some scones or muffins or a traditional roast dinner. Highly recommend this property - it is one of those with real soul. "

  • "The nook was a beautiful atmospheric blue mountains experience. We could have just stayed there all weekend and enjoyed the garden, pool, play area and fireplace. The kitchen was also a joy to cook in, beds comfy and rooms very spacious. Close proximity to Kihila Conference Centre was also a big bonus as we we attending activites there and it was a short walk down the road."

  • "A beautiful home with a gorgeous garden and such a relaxing home. Had a wonderful time relaxing at strolling around the garden and our young toddler really enjoyed the playroom. Would definately stay here again and will be recommending this beautiful home to friends and family.... Thankyou to the owners who have made a haven away from home :)"

  • "My girlfriends and I visited the nook to celebrate my 40th bday, We had a child free weekend and a wonderfully relaxing time enjoying the peace and tranquility of the nook and its beautiful gardens and charm. This is my second visit to the nook this year and we can't wait to work out the dates for our next visit....."

  • "Our family of six stayed a the Nook for a log weekend to enjoy the mountains. The hosue was lovely and very cosy and had plenty of room to stretch out and give everyone their own space. the kids loved the kids room with plenty of toys and activities and the main "nook" with fireplace was the perfect place to relax and read a book. The weather was not kind to us this weekend but that's not the nooks fault and we happy to have the info folder to be able to organise some take out and videos. Overall a very pleasant experience and one that we would recommend."
