The Spotted Salmon Cottage (circa 1900's) is a 3 bedroom house centrally located in picturesque Ulverstone on Tasmania's North West Coast.

The Spotted Salmon Cottage is tastefully decorated, is warm and cosy (heat pump) and has everything you could need for your stay. The Spotted Salmon is fully self-contained with two living areas for your comfort.

The main bedroom has a queen bed, the second a double bed and the third has a set of bunks. There is also a click-clack couch and a double fold out bed if required.

It is an ideal place to stay for couples, families and groups. Each of the three bedrooms are fitted with electric blankets for the cooler seasons. A portacot and highchair are also available for use.

For the enjoyment of our guests there is a flat screen LCD TV and a selection of DVD's, books, and magazines have been provided.

There is also a fully equipped kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities provided for your convenience.

There is also an outdoor setting for you to sit back and enjoy the private back yard.

A washing machine and dryer is available for your use.

All this for the price of a hotel room!

The Spotted Salmon cottage is only a short distance from our other popular property the Tickled Trout . This is ideal for larger groups that need two houses but wish to be close to each other.

Central location

The Spotted Salmon is positioned on the Leven River and is also just a stone's throw from the town centre where you can go shopping or enjoy a meal or a drink at one of Ulverstone's many bars, cafes and restaurants.

It is also only a 3 minute walk to Ulverstone's pristine yet safe swimming beaches, parklands and Ulverstone's new state-of-the-art Sports Complex. One of Tasmania's best golf courses (Ulverstone Golf Course) is also only a short drive away.

Ulverstone is located close to the Spirit of Tasmania terminal (20mins), Burnie (30 mins), Devonport (20mins) and Launceston airports (1hr), Cradle Mountain (1hr), Stanley (1.5hrs) and the Tarkine (1hr).
