Our apartment is situated within the grounds of a five star resort and spa complex. Nestled in the most exclusive part of the resort where there are only 41 suites. Guests can enjoy private facilities away from the main resort. The forty one apartments are all self contained suites with both spectacular ocean and park views from a private balcony. Inside are first-class facilities such as LCD televisions, Bose audio systems, deluxe double spas and fully equipped gourmet kitchens with top-of-the-line appliances and fittings. This part of the resort includes a lap pool, hot tub and relaxing lounge areas, available to only you and the other guests occupying the other 40 suites. Alternatively, you are welcome to use all of the facilities in the main resort also. Our apartment has beautiful views of the ocean from the main living area, kitchen, main bedroom and main bathroom. Or sit on the private balcony and watch the children play in central park.

Salt Surf Life Saving Club, A safe beach environment for the family. Salt Surf Life Saving Club is Australia's newest Surf Club, volunteer members patrol the beach in front of Salt Village on weekends and public holidays, working in conjunction with full-time lifeguards the patrol the beach the remaining bays mean the beach is patrolled 365 days of the year.
Bike Riding
Salt Village features seven kilometres of cycle tracks and walkways. For those who enjoy a little exercise, ask about hiring a bike and exploring this beautiful region at your own pace.
Surfing Lessons
New Tweed Coast Adventures. New Tweed Coast Adventures offer a range of local experiences including Learn to Surf, Kayak Tours and Kayak hire for those who want to get out by themselves to experience the amazing flora and fauna of the region. New Tweed Coast Adventures offers small group tours to the region daily.
Local Markets
Each week numerous local markets are held throughout the region and include Ballina, Bangalow, Banora Point Farmers Markets, Byron Bay and Kingscliff. The Byron Bay Markets are held 1st Sunday of every month. The Bangalow Markets are held on the 4th Sunday of every month. On the Northern side of Kingscliff Bowls Club, every second Saturday in the park. (2nd & 4th Saturday of each month).
Kingscliff Bowls Club
Weekly on Sunday mornings is a buffet breakfast Barefoot Bowls. It’s a great way to be social and active at the same time. Barefoot Bowls is fun for all ages and occasions.
Fingal Lighthouse
Also of interest is a walk up to Fingal Lighthouse. The Fingal Head Lighthouse is located on the southern head of the Tweed River, which divides New South Wales and Queensland. It’s an easy walk along the sand tracks and up to the lighthouse, where Cook Island can be seen off shore.
Mt Warning
Another pleasant walk (although a much more difficult climb) is the walk up Mt Warning (follow the signs from Murwillumbah). Allow yourself 6 hours for the climb and bring sufficient water and wear suitable walking shoes. The descent track is the same as the ascent track.
Tropical Fruit World
Tropical Fruit World is an agri-tourist destination based around a tropical fruit plantation. Enjoy their plantation safaris, mini train rides, jungle riverboat cruise, treasure island, fauna park and fruit tasting shows. You can also purchase fresh tropical fruits and ice creams, drinks and mouth-watering lunches, famous natural skincare and gourmet products. It is open daily from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. To get there head west from Kingscliff along Cudgen Road for about 8 km and turn left onto Duranbah road (watch for the signposts).
Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
Here you will see the largest collection of native Australian animals in the world! There are wildlife shows and enclosures featuring native animals. Have your photo taken with a cuddly koala and hand feed the kangaroos. Don't miss the famous wild lorikeet feeding at 8.00am and 4.00pm daily!

Byron Bay
Australia’s most easterly point, Byron Bay, is a short 40 minute drive south of Salt Village. The town is famous for its world renowned surfing beaches and luscious countryside. An early 1900’s government report referred to it as having a “unique ambience”. This positive energy was well known to the Bundjalung Aboriginal tribes who used it to help resolve disputes and for celebrations.
