The Indigo Retreat is a beautiful and unique studio perfect for inspiring escapes surrounded by the most stunning section of the NSW coast.
This accommodation is new and very spacious and with its incredibly comfie king size bed is a perfect romantic stay for couples.
Overlooking its own resort style pool on one side, and the Murrah Lagoon, Beach and Ocean on the other, it has a covered outdoor kitchen and living space that youll want to relax in most of the time.
When youre not doing that youll probably take a 15 min walk or 2 min drive along our private, wide and safe bush track to secluded and pristine Murrah Beach where you can explore coastal lagoons at either end or walk along the cliffs in adjoining Mimosa Rocks National Park and watch seabirds, whales & dolphins.
Return from the beach for a hot outdoor shower, a sauna, maybe another swim in the pool, throw a line in the lake, read a book, explore our extensive and unique gardens, take our kayak out on the lake or visit local wineries, art galleries and restaurants on the coastal food and art trail that runs between Bermagui and Tathra.
At night, dine out or use the fully equipped outdoor kitchen with pizza oven, wok burner and tepanyaki style bbq cook locally bought produce and seafood and supplement it with anything you can scrounge from our organic vegie garden.
The retreat is fully equipped with extras such as cafe grill, blender, rice cooker etc and well stocked with assorted spices and sauces. It has a collection of tea pots and menu of gourmet tea! It also has an espresso machine and we provide great coffee and lessons on getting the most from our machine so you dont ruin your stay with average coffee...
After dinner go to bed early and snuggle in to our luxurious linen, watch a movie, stargaze on the sunbeds or just sit and take in the sounds of the bush and ocean as you drink wine by the luminescent indigo lit pool.
NEW: Sauna and small gym, free wireless broadband access, extensive pay TV channels and use our new outdoor heater at night!

The Murrah is a rural and forested haven about 15 minutes south of Bermagui on the Bermagui-Tathra coastal road. It is on the northernmost boundary of Mimosa Rocks National Park which has stunning spotted gum and burrawang forest, numerous untouched beaches and crystal clear lagoons.
Charming old wooden bridges, lush green farmland, beachside drives and winding forested roads all add to its unique unspoiled character and it has been a long time favoured escape for city refugees seeking space in nature for creative arts, rest and healing.
Now with the opening of a few deluxe accommodation options the Murrah has become accessible for holiday stays and a series of new galleries, wineries and restaurants nearby have overlayed the pleasure factor to create a fantastic escape destination.
Nearby Bermagui is a very pretty and undeveloped coastal village with a population of about 2000 people. It's the perfect place for topping up food and holiday supplies and has more than enough restaurants, wine bars and cafes to try out over the space of a week or two. The historic village of Tilba and coastal towns Tathra and Merimbula are easily accessible for day trips.
If you haven't explored this very special part of the wilderness coast you must do so!
