Fishing Point Lake House is a nicely renovated cottage across the road from the lake's edge in a quiet relaxing spot with water views overlooking the lake. A warm wood fire (fan forced) for the colder months (wood supplied).
Relax and enjoy the changing moods of the lake, the house picks up lovely breezes from the lake. Watch the boats cruise by and the pelicans glide, and enjoy sunsets over the water. Quiet and peaceful location.
Ceiling fans for good air circulation (bedrooms and 2 in the main living / kitchen)
Fishing in Australia's largest saltwater lake, access to Fishing Point Reserve is 150m, I go off the rocks and pick up some nice bream, flatties, squire, flounder and leather jackets sometimes :)
Or get active with Lake Macquarie to enjoy. Easy access to the lake, fishing, swimming, great walks, bike rides, boating, jetski, sailing, windsurfing, photography.
Explore the Hunter (wineries, mountains, Newcastle etc) whatever is your thing.
Boats have good access with off road parking for the car(s) and boats, 1 lock up garage. The public boat ramp is 1 Km.

Fishing Point is situated on Lake Macquarie, Australia's largest salt water lake. 1 hour drive from the Sydney beginning of the F3 , take the Morriset off ramp.
Fishing Point Lake House is overlooking Eraring Bay towards Wangi Wangi (South aspect) which is about 3 Km across water.
Great spot, the house is the classic weekender cottage with all its charms. The house has a lakeside feel with everything you need for a relaxing break. Great views.
2 bedrooms with built in wardrobes. 1 bedroom with Queen bed, other bedroom has 4 singles (2 are trundles).
1 blanket each and bedspreads. 8 pillows. 1 Queen , 4 singles. Linen packs available for additional fee per person.
2 Futon sofas (form into 2 additional double beds, linen not supplied) on the large L shaped sunroom overlooking the lake.

Cottage L shaped kitchen with granite benchtops, new LPG gas stove, microwave and banquet size electric frypan and outside gas BBQ. Crockery, cutlery, cookware, utensils and glassware. Upside down fridge (also beery fridge in The Shed). Outside gas BBQ from the paved covered patio.
1 bathroom with bath and shower over bath.
Laundry and seperate toilet with access through bathroom or from the rear patio outside. Has a new 5.5 Kg top loader washing machine.
Lounge with 32" HD Digital LCD TV and DVD player. Front bedroom (with single beds has a 68 cm TV which has digital freeview channels, (GO, One HD etc) and DVD player.

1 car garage with seperate workshop
On a large block about 1/3 of an acre, good access for cars and boats.
Yard not fenced, no pets allowed.
Walk 150m to Fishing Point Reserve, you can fish from the rocks, I have scored squire, bream, flatties, and flounder, there on occasions :)
1 Km to public boat ramp with public jetty.
Rathmines shops 2 Km -IGA Minimart, Newsagency, Cafe / restaurant, Chinese Rest., Bowling Club, Bottleshop, Service station, pharmacy, ATM.
Wangi Wangi is 5Km and has a variety of shops, cafes, clubs and a pub.
Toronto is 7 Km, with Coles, Woolies, Aldi and a variety of shops, banks etc)
Lock up single car garage with workshop. Large block of land, ample parking for cars and boats. Boat ramp with public jetty is 1Km. Local shops, petrol station, restaurants and clubs.
