This is the perfect retreat in a tropical paradise. The pool is a great place to cool down with an icy drink from the swim-up cocktail bar, and when you retire from the activities of the day you will return to an air-conditioned room.
The hotel is a short drive away from the town, about a 40 minute walk. Public transport is reliable and is managed by Sun Palm. Busses will pick you up from the front of the resort, and run every half hour from 07:00am to midnight every day. Trips to and from the CBD are free.
The room is the larger of the two sizes of hotel style rooms available. The king sized bed allows people their own space which is often a relief at the end of a tropical day.
Port Douglas is the perfect holiday destination for sitting by the pool and relaxing and doing not much else. The food at the restaurant is great and the pool furniture is comfy enough to spend a whole day on.
If you are looking for a more exciting escape Port Douglas is also the perfect place for sight-seeing and for getting involved in some of the most beautiful places planet Earth has to offer! See the only place in the world where the rainforest meets the sea!
Snorkelling, diving, hang-gliding, rainforest walks and meeting animals from the tropics close-up are just a few of the amazing experiences you can enjoy during your stay.
There is a pull out sofa bed in the room to accommodate an extra friend or couple at a cost of $10 per person per night and $30 for bedding.
