  • "My daughter & I recently spent 5 wonderfully relaxing & enjoyable days at "Brooklands at Balingup". The cottage itself was extremely cosy & warm with excellent amenities. Very tasteful & comfortable French Provincial decor. We could have quite happily hibernated there for the whole Winter & were very sad when it was time to leave!! Our stay was everything & a lot more than we had hoped for. We will definately return."

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay at Brooklands. This delightful guest house has a homely feel, set in a picturesque valley only a few minutes drive from the main street in town. The perfect retreat from the city - read, take long walks and enjoy the stillness of this beautiful part of WA. Star-gazing is also a must - incredible! Our dog came along and also had a wonderful time frolicking around in the paddock. He made himself at home in the guest house and also took to visiting the main house, where he was welcomed inside by Gary. As other reviewers have said the owner went out of his way to make us feel welcome and to ensure we had everything we needed. We'll definitely be back!"

  • "A truly wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. You are even welcome to bring your dog. The owner gave a warm welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. The cottage is very cosy and situated close to the town, surrounded by rolling hills and countryside. There are plenty of walking trails, canoeing and horse-riding in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away and would highly recommend staying here. "
