Description

Dalfruin Heritage 1910 Home built by John McKnockiter for his family, it is like many of the period public buildings in East Gippsland that he built, it is now a beautiful Landmark building.

Dalfruin has three very different choices. Experience traditional 'in House traditional B&B or one of the two spacious self-contained apartments in the grounds
with three different apartments.

Walk to CBD, but quiet location away from busy Princess Highway making it perfect for good nights sleep.


Dalfruin: is a magnificient Edwardian House with period furniture, stained class windows, 14' ceilings.
We only take one couple in the house, which then means you have half a house to yourself.
Bedroom has Queen size bed, ensuite with shower,claw bath, & toilet. Lounge with everything 80cmTV/DVD seperate dining room, where generous breakfast is served, cereal, croissants, Gippsland yoghurt, jams, fresh fruit platter, orange juice, fruit or wholemeal toast,. chocolates & complimentary port.

BallyVista Studio Apartment
BallyVista Studio apartment is seperate and self-contained, in the grounds of Dalfruin. Queen sized fourposter bed, lounge 80cm TV/DVD/stero/ dining table, kitchenette with sink, frig, microwave, toaster/kettle/coffee plunger/ crockery/cutlery. Spacious ensuite with shower, claw bath, & toilet, hair dryer generous breakfast provisions supplied in your tariff along with chocolates & complimentary port.
Reverse cycle air conditing Tariff $140 per couple - Free Wi Fi and parking.
All linen doona's and towels supplied.


The Garden Apartment with views over the grounds & water feature from french doors is self contained. Queen size antique bed, dining area, sink into comfy lounge 80cm TV/DVD/stero . Seperate kitchenette with microwave kettle, toaster, coffee plunger/ all crockery, cutlery,, frig, sink, plus washing machine.
En suite with shower, vanity and toilet.
Generous provisions for breakfast included in tariff which include for both self contained apartments:
Cereal, orange juice, milk, bread, yoghurt, fruit, condiments, assorted teas, coffee, with complimentary port and chocolates
Everything there included reverse cycle air conditioner for all year comfort. Couple $140 Tariff

5 Mins walk to CBD and local attractions including Mitchell River.
3 mins to Olympic Swimming pool

Attractions

Ideally located walking distance to shops, Quiet location so you do get a good sleep. 5 mins to the Mitchell River, or Olympic size pool few mins away. Short drive to Metung, Paynesville, Ninty mile beach. Visit the wineries, art galleries, antiques, craft markets, or ride, cycle ot horse ride the Rail Trail. Explore Buchan Caves, the Great Alpine Road, Omeo. Day trip to the snow Mt Hotham or Dinner Plains.

Bairnsdale with its golf course, famous St Marys church with fresco ceiling, strip shopping, array of dining places from formal to alfresco. Walks galore all help you to relax, and go back fitter and saner.
