Montville: Montville is nestled in the heart of the Sunshine Coast hinterland on the Blackall Range, approximately 40 minutes south-east of Noosa. The region is nothing short of spectacular with an awesome natural beauty that includes gorges and waterfalls, rainforests and scenic reserves, lakes and lilyponds - and magnificent sweeping views.
The weather is superb, with slightly cooler temperatures than the coast and far less humidity. The rural village charm, diverse architecture, and stylish shops and eateries, art galleries and wineries makes it one of Queenlsands premium destinations.
Renowned as a popular tourist destination, the Blackall Range boasts extraordinary views of the Glasshouse Mountains plus panoramic coastal vistas. Baroon Pocket Dam, Kondalilla Falls NP, Mapleton Falls NP and Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve are extremely popular, as is the Sunshine Coast Hinterland Great Walk which starts at Lake Baroon and winds through the national parks to Mapleton.
