The cottage is located in Maydena which is situated near the Tyenna River, 12 kilometres from Mount Field National Park. It offers spectacular mountain scenery and is close to the Styx Forest of Big Trees and the Eagles Eyrie lookout.
The famouse Tyenna River is just minutes down the road and is the number one fly fishing location in Tasmania. For those keen fisherman we can also arrange a guide who will take you to some hidden fishing spots that contain large rainbow trout, brown trout and atlantic salmon.
