Description
Set on 50 acres in secluded valley, 30 min drive from spirit of Tasmania and Devonport airport. Self contained cottage about 50 metres from main house. Secluded forest setting yet only 3 kms from the beautiful seaside town of Penguin and beach. Hazelnut orchard, Penguin creek, native bush and forest. Charming cosy cottage, everything you need is supplied. Full kitchen facilities. Cosy wood fire for those cooler evenings, gas barbeque, a selection of DVDs, CDs, books, games, magazines and an LCD television with built in DVD player. There are two bedrooms: main bedroom has queen size bed and single plus trundle, second bedroom has 2 single beds that can be zipped up to a king size bed if required. There is a portable cot and highchair available. We are a fully accredited tourism business. Bird watchers paradise with abundant wildlife. We have our own ducks, chickens and sheep on the property.
**We can now also offer accommodation in the Main House on a Bed & Breakfast basis. The large, bay-windowed room overlooks the front garden and can sleep up to 3 people (1 queen and 1 single bed). There is an LCD TV and an en-suite with shower. Breakfast is served in the guest dining room/lounge and is included in the tariff.**

We are 3kms from Penguin. Penguin is about 15 kms from Burnie, 25 kms from Devonport and 10 kms from Ulverstone.
There are ample amenities in Penguin such as a bakery, butcher, greengrocer and 2 supermarkets, cafes and restaurants plus much more.

Cradle Mountain, Leven Canyon, Gunns Plains, Burnie, Devonport, Stanley (the Nut), Woolnorth Wind Farm, Wynyard tulips, coastal views. Sheffield, the town of murals, chocolate and cheese factories, waterfalls, national parks, Tamar valley and many more.
