Nestled amongst gum trees and backing onto Dharug National Park, the cottage is ideal for a tranquil weekend, midweek getaway or a longer holiday. Wake up to the calls of the bell birds and kookaburras.
The cottage is located in the beautiful Fogotten Valley near the Hawksbury River. Despite the wonderfully tranquil bushland setting - it's easy to reach from Sydney. Only an 1 and 15 mins drive. It is a 2 minute drive from Wisemans Ferry on the Road to St Albans.

Bushwalkers paradise - with Devine's Hill just behind the house and the Old Great Northern Road, only 1km away.
A stone's throw from the river - make use of the fishing rods supplied with the house - or check out the local art gallery.
Check out the golf course at Wisemans Ferry, or enjoy a game of lawn bowls over a leisurely lunch.
Ride one of the many mountain bike trails in the area.
Launch your canoe or boat at the public boat ramp that is only 2 mins drive away.
We are pet friendly, dogs are welcome, but we ask that any doggy leaving are picked up prior to departure. A medium size dog bed is provided.

The Wisemans Car Ferry runs 24 hours a day and is free. It is closed for 2 hours on the 1st Thursday of every month from 10am to 12 noon.

The Wisemans Ferry and St Albans area boasts welcoming historic pubs, exquisite river and mountain views, extensive water-skiing, kayaking and bushwalking. A beautiful 9 hole golf course is also located at Wisemans Ferry.
Wisemans Ferry is located on the banks of the Hawkesbury River. It is is approx. 78km from Sydney's City centre.
Surrounded by beautiful National Parks, Dharug, Yengo and Cattai to the west.
The Dharug National Park contains 16km of the convict-built road, the "Old Great North Road" that once connected Sydney and Newcastle.
Visitors can walk the first 1.6km section of the old road, or stroll along the 1.6km Grass Tree Circuit then perhaps stop for a picnic at Mill Creek or Hazel Dell.
Enjoy Watersking; canoeing; or fishing on the Hawkesbury, rods are provided at the cottage and watersking schools and boat hire are also available.
The Hunter Valley Wineries are only a bit over an hours drive away - through historic Wollemi and then on to Cessnock and surrounds.
