PELANGI (Rainbow) is located on IMPIANA (Dream) ESTATE: it adjoins rainforest in the Otway Ranges and boasts picturesque landscape and ocean views. This is the perfect retreat for family holidays, wedding receptions, executive think-tanks, corporate seminars, board meetings, honeymoons and romantic getaways.
PELANGI accommodates 8 guests in 3 bedrooms, and if combined with SRI MENANTI - a 2 bedroom cottage - it will accommodate 12 (See below). PELANGI comprises a main bedroom with a king size bed and en-suite, a second bedroom with a king size bed, and a third bedroom with two king singles and two king single trundle beds. A well appointed bathroom is provided for the second and third bedrooms. Linen and towelling is supplied.
PELANGI is designed to defer to its panoramic location whilst functioning as a cosy air-conditioned sanctuary from which our guests may observe Nature's gifts: her delicate; her powerful; and her most wonderful. Photographers, landscape artists, budding astronomers and nature lovers become absorbed in their pursuits undisturbed in the pristine and secluded environment.
Buy fresh local produce, fire up the BBQ and enjoy a local steak alfresco, or indulge your gastronomic passions in the well equipped kitchen. After dinner, retire by the wood fire to discuss the day's events and to watch the sun set over Apollo Bay.
At night, gaze at the moon and the stars in the clearly visible Milky Way Galaxy. The grand vista of Earth and heavenly bodies will evoke an existential celebration of being in the World. The fresh sea air will induce a revitalising sleep.
At dawn, watch the sunrise from your breakfast table. Go on a bush walk to explore the 71 hectare Estate. Pack a picnic lunch and a blanket. Spot kangaroos, parrots and other Australian native fauna. Discover and stop to admire the various unique native habitats and natural gardens.
Visit the local attractions or engage in the many recreational activities the Region has to offer. The Otway Fly rainforest canopy observation deck is about 25 kilometres away. The drive there is through spectacular rainforest. The beaches at Skenes Creek and Apollo Bay are accessible within minutes. Try spotting the magnificent Southern Right Whales (Google for more info) along the Coast from May to October.
For fine dining at breakfast, lunch and dinner we recommend Chris's Restaurant at Skenes Creek (Google it) which is only a short drive away.

Our loyal guests will be pleased to know SRI MENANTI cottage is now available for their enjoyment. SRI MENANTI has similar views to PELANGI and is situated only 120 metres away. A wood fire in the inviting lounge, kitchen and dining area, makes Sri Menanti a cosy sanctuary. SRI MENANTI sleeps 4 in two bedrooms. Each room has a queen bed.
