Just enjoyed a wonderful family holiday at this beautiful house. From the moment the kids got out of the car they were entertained by the garden and all its creatures. We adults enjoyed the beautiful views and relaxed feeling the house oozes. The grandparents stayed in their own, not so little, house and could escape when needed. We all can't wait to go back next summer.

We had a fabulous long weekend at The Sanctuary with 3 generations of family for a birthday celebration. Plenty of room and space for all. The house was all we hoped for, well presented and the kitchen/s stocked with all we needed, even utensils to make pancakes for breakfast on the verandah. We had one brief sighting of a possum one evening but despite our best efforts to spot them they were elusive the rest of the time. The views were fabulous and it was so relaxing and restful we didnt want to leave. We cant wait to return. Thankyou

We had a wonderful time at The Sanctuary. The layout of the property allowed us to come together as a group and enjoy one another's company but we were also able to have plenty of privacy when we wanted it. The gardens were magical and the bird life was very impressive. We particuarly enjoyed meals on the verandah with the distant ocean view.

My wife and I took our family to The Sanctuary for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. Our party was four couples and three grandchildren. The house was ideal for us. It allowed members of our party both privacy and companionship. The location is superb and the house is relaxing, inviting and spacious. It was the best holiday we've had in years.

The Sanctuary was more then anything i could imagine. An absolute great holiday house if you just want to get away for awhile. The views from the balconys were amazing and the location and the environment was absolutely beautiful.
The 12 of us who stayed at The Sanctuary really enjoyed our weeks stay at the house, we couldnt have asked for anything more. Will be back to visit!
Thanks Graham :)

What an escape and relax at The Sanctuary! Our party consisted of two mums with a total of 6 children and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the wildlife in the beautiful gardens. The kids were amazed at the birds, butterflies and the night visits from the possums! There was plenty of space for the children to amuse themselves and lots of nooks and crannys for the mums to escape, enjoy the view and drink plenty of vino from the local wineries. A short walk to the beach it became an after dinner evening ritual. We will definately be back and the only regret is that we didn't stay longer and take our husbands!!

What a fantastic set up! We had 10 people in our group and stayed for 4 nights. The location was therapeutic, especially watching the whales from the balcony and the resident possums coming to say hello every night. The house was clean and tidy, nice clean linen, the kitchen was well stocked with all utensils. It was the perfect place to get away and not have to worry about taking anything. The only negative was that our stay was too short. We will definitly return in 2011 (for at least a week!)and highly recommend it to family and friends. Thank you Graham for the friendly service you provided throughout our enquiries and stay.

My fiancee, I and 2 other couples stayed here for a week and had a fantastic time. We loved the the huge house and were very comfortable the whole time. The house is surrounded by beautiful Australian Gardens and Wildlife. Its also located in a great spot for bush walking and the beach. We also organised a local winery tour when we were down there and they picked us up form the house, so everything was perfect. If we were going to Eagle bay again, I would first check to see if this property is available to stay in. Thanks for letting us stay in your house !!!

What a great house in a perfect location- our UK guests fell in love with Eagle Bay and the southwest coast. The children ages (3-10) took advantage of the fabulous August weather splashing and playing on the beach, which was just a short stroll away. They voted it their best holiday..ever! The house was fantastic and accommodated 9 people very comfortably. Lots of space and areas to escape to with a glass of wine!
No doubt we will be booking this property again.

I stayed at the Sanctuary in July with my family and my brother's family, four children and four adults. This beautiful home exceeded my expectations. There were two living areas for the kids and adults to relax in and digital TV. There was a fun shack filled with activities for the kids such as pool and table tennis, plus lots of games and a PS2. The kids kept themselves amused for a whole week and we were all able to relax and retreat from the world. We had a couple of lovely days weather where we could go for a walk down the beach (400M) plus there was a playground for the kids opposite the beach. The beds were comfy, the doonas very warm and there was a hammock to relax in. We would definitely love to return and can understand why it is called the Sanctuary. Thank you for our wonderful experience!!! I totally recommend this retreat to anyone wanting to escape and enjoy this prized location.

Very happy with this place. It is nice and roomy and has everything you need for a good stay. It's close to the beach and although it was too cold to swim in June, we did have some lovely walks along the beach. There are so many different spots to sit and relax in this house and the views are sensational. 3 bathrooms means that there is lots of space for everyone which is important when there is a group of you and you are all getting ready at the same time! But far and away the best thing about this house were the sensational king sized beds. They were the most comfortable bed that I have ever slept on (better than my own!). I even pulled up the sheets before leaving to see if the brand and type was on the mattress so I could buy my own! (couldn't find it though!) Slept like a baby on the bed with the sound of the ocean lulling you to sleep. Gardens are lovely and provided a nice place for the kids to have some 'adventures' and discover things. Very relaxing holiday and would recommend, particularly to groups of people because this place provides space and privacy for everyone.
