Description

Millers House is a comfortable and spacious heritage listed,circa 1859, stone cottage of great character with a cosy sitting room, large separate dining room and well equipped country kitchen. Breakfast provisions including eggs and bacon will be in the pantry for you.
There are 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, bedroom 2 has 2 single beds and bedroom 3 has a double bed and 2 single beds. All linen is provided. The house has 1 bathroom.
There are open wood fires in the 3 living rooms. In the warmer months you can dine on the verandah or in the garden. There are beautiful views of the countryside from the wide shady slate verandahs around the house.
Children are welcome. Flexible arrival and departure times are offered subject to availability.
The cost per night for 2 people is $175.00, for 3 people $220.00, for 4 people $265.00, for 5 people $310.00, for 6 people $355.00. Children up to 15 years $35.00 per night.

A 2 night booking is requested and 3 nights on SA long weekends.A surcharge of $20.00 applies to a 1 night booking if available. Please ask for the cost for special event weekends.

Location

The cottage is located in the heart of historic Mintaro and the premium Clare Valley wine region, a pleasant 90 minute drive north of Adelaide. Mintaro is a State classified heritage area.
The house is quietly located in the township of Mintaro and you can walk to restaurants and wineries in the town.
