Having rented through Stayz.com myself, I know that my biggest concern is that the property will be a disappointment from the description or photos in the listing.

Everyone that has stayed here so far has been thrilled with the apartment, the location and the cleanliness and comfort.

This apartment is an oasis located right on the beach.

When you drive to the beach end of 19th Avenue, there is a ramshackle block of apartments on the left - which always gives our guests cause for concern BUT THAT IS NOT OUR BLOCK.

Along the beachfront, in front of that ramshackle block, is a driveway that leads to a small 3 storey 1970's block of units (neat but not a particularly attractive block) and our beautiful modern apartment, which was gutted and totally renovated a couple of years ago, is on the ground floor OF THAT BLOCK.

Actually, if you climbed out the front window of this apartment (which is not allowed, by the way) you would be about 10 steps from the sand and 30 from the beautiful surf. Also the flags for the little Pacific Beach Club are close to the apartment for safe swimming.

The big picture window at the front of the unit takes in a stunning view of Palm Beach - and we have binoculars to watch the whales as they passby in season.

The apartment is not huge, but it is more than comfortable for 2 adults and up to 4 children, or 4-6 adults if they don't mind bunk beds. The beds are very comfortable, and while the second bedroom is compact the master bedroom and the living area is light, open and spacious.

If you are coming to the Gold Coast to enjoy the wonderful sunshine and lie on our beautiful beaches OR visit the theme parks, this is a great location.

This fully self-contained apartment(which is more like a small house with a front and back door!) comfortable accommodates up to 6.

It has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed, bedside tables and reading lamps (see photo), a built-in wardrobe, individual airconditioning and an ensuite with toilet and shower.

The second bedroom has 2 sets of bunks, a built-in lowboy cupboard and drawers and individual airconditioning.

The second bathroom has a shower and there is a completely separate toilet.

Large combined lounge/dining room with airconditioning, Plasma TV and DVD Player - with a selection of DVD's to enjoy.

Modern kitchen with cooktop, oven, dishwasher and microwave. Also breakfast bench with barstools.

The huge front picture windows have spectacular views of Palm Beach.

5 mins walk to the bustling Palm Beach shops with cafes, pubs, restaurants and grocery shops.

5 mins drive to beautiful Currumbin with is delicious cafes, surfing schools (call Surf Easy to book lessons)and protected beach is another advantage of this fantastic location.

You can also experience the Gold Coast Theme Parks or the natural beauty of the surrounding hinterland from this great apartment.

Outdoor shower in yard to wash off sand.

High chair and portable cot available on request at minimal charge.
