Myself and a colleague were blessed to have the opportunity to stay in this well appointed cottage situated in a quiet area close to Tamworth CBD.. We lacked for nothing. Comfortable beds, lovely bathroom and general living areas. Our hostess was a particularly efficient and delightful person. I am eager to return and recommend Carthage Cottage in every respect. Visiting from Sydney for a hockey carnival and we were lucky to book Carthage Street Cottage for two nights. Perfect for 1-2 couples. Very comfortable and cozy with quality beds, linen and blankets. Kitchen had everything you would need for a short or long stay. Lovely little deck at the back to capture the winter sun! Walking distance to the Tamworth Hotel (great restaurant and warm fire!). Will definitely recommend this to our friends.

My family visited the cottage for the weekend and was amazed with the set up. The cottage was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable and cosy. We absolutely enjoyed staying at the cottage for 2 nights and felt our stay was short lived. Wished we had stayed longer. Would definately return to the cottage if we are back in tamworth. The cottage felt like home which is a fantastic feeling. Thank you for making our stay comfortable.

We had a wonderful day in Carthage Cottage this month. The house was beautiflly decorated, very clean, practical, had great inclusions in the kitchen, right down to useful things like foil, salt and pepper etc and a lovely rose garden to enjoy from the front verandah. Laundry and bathroom were great. Location great. Comfortable bed. Very happy with everything about our stay. Will be glad to come again. Loved our litle chocolate treat! Thanks Laurie!

Stayed at the cottage for 4 days while visiting Tamworth. The cottage was light, airy, tastefully furnished and extremely comfortable. It was the perfect place to stay and a great alternative to motels. Beds and linen were extremely comfortable. All in all the experience was a 5 out of 5 for us and we would definitely stay again.

At last, some quality self catering accommodation at an affordable price in Tamworth. My daughter and I enjoyed very much a 5 night stay at Carthage St Cottage in May while we caught up with family. The cottage is very cosy, tastefully appointed, well equipped and the "fully loaded" beds are very comfy and are furnished with lovely bed linen. I will look forward to staying there on my next visit.

Our stay at Carthage Street cottage was warm, welcoming and peaceful. Everything we needed was available.
A lot of thought had obviously gone in to making people to feel at home, right down to the little things, (the bed was awesome).
It was the beautiful little touches that made our stay truly special and memorable.
Brian and Georgia continued to be caring and helpful hosts. We would highly recommend anyone to experience this lovely cottage.
It was a stay to remember. Thank you so much Brian and Georgia for making us feel right at home.
