The Hunter Olive House is set on 3 acres just on the outskirts of the beautiful village of Broke and surrounded by some of the best vineyards and Cellar Doors in the Hunter Valley.

The Olive house is a lovely country house with wrap around verandas, reverse cycle air-conditioning and a wood fire. It is set on two levels with high ceilings and beautiful polished floors throughout. Accommodation consists of four large bedrooms and a comfy queen sofa bed in the lounge area. It also has a separate large studio room with a further 4 double sized purpose built wooden bunks beds allowing accommodation for up to 18 guests. We also have a few single foam mattresses which are handy for children if they need to sleep in the same room as their parents.

The ground level has a large open plan living space with lots of comfy sofas, a big plasma TV, a huge dining table and a kitchen with dishwasher, gas cooker and everything you would need to cook up a storm. The ground floor also has a king bedroom and a bathroom, toilet and laundry. On the top level you have 3 spacious queen size bedrooms, one with double Spa ensuite and Plasma TV and this level also houses the third bathroom.

The outside studio/rumpus area has four comfortable double bunk beds allowing further accommodation for another 8 guests if you have a large group of family and friends. This room has a lovely open fire, reverse cycle air conditioning and huge plasma TV.

The house is fitted with four reverse cycle air conditioners and a wood burning fire so is perfect for the summer or winter months. There is plenty of room for outside entertaining with large wooden tables and chairs and a BBQ on the veranda. The Olive House also boasts a basic floodlight clay tennis court – not for the serious player but plenty of fun and if when you get tired of the game we provide a great set of boules to give you another challenge. Lots of board games and books and DVDs, WiFi internet connection and iPod speakers are provided in the house for the less strenuous, who want to sit back and enjoy all the comforts of a great country house in one of the most beautiful parts of the Hunter Valley.

WEEKEND RATES (2 nights) (Thu-Fri or Fri-Sat or Sat-Sun)
* The nightly weekend rate for up to 6 guests is $600 per night (2 night minimum - see 1 night rates below).
* Extra adult guests are charged at $75 per person per night.
* Children are charge $60 per child (2 years to 13 years).
* Infants under 2 are free.
* A Lazy afternoon checkout may be available at $120 per stay, allowing you to use the property on the day of departure until 5pm. (subject to availability)
* An early check in of 12pm may be available for $50 per stay (subject to availability)

MID WEEK RATES (2 nights)
*Midweek rates are charged at 28% discount off the weekend tariff.

ONE NIGHT WEEKEND or MIDWEEK BOOKINGS
*One night bookings are available. Please contact us for a quote.

WEEKLY RATES AND LONGER STAYS
* Discounts are available on stays of 5 nights and over, please contact us for a quote.

OTHER CHARGES
* A deposit of 50% of the total rate is required by credit card to secure the booking. A $300 holding deposit can hold the property for 14 days if you need to collect payment from other guests.
* The outstanding balance is due 14 days before your arrival date.
* The guest responsible for the booking must register with Events in the Vines, by phoning the office, at least 24hrs before check in, to provide their credit card details, which may be used to cover incidental items such as (but not limited to): telephone charges on the house landline, any breakages or damage incurred during your stay, or cleaning charges in excess of the normal level of cleaning.
* Weekend Public Holiday, Easter, Christmas and New Year bookings must be for a minimum of 8 or more guests and are a minimum 3 night stay at full weekend rate.
* Concert weekends must be a minimum of 8 or more guest.
