Magnificently presented 3 bedroom 2 storey self-contained Luxury Townhouse with 3 bathrooms (including oversized double corner bath)! Brilliant Waterfront Location overlooking the Pacific Ocean (private steps lead down to Tilbury Cove and Culburra Beach). DUCTED AIR CONDITIONING IS A FEATURE NOT OFFERED BY MANY OTHER HOLIDAY ACCOMODATION PROPERTIES. Only for the most discerning guests wanting a luxurious fully serviced holiday. Bedding is one King size, 2 Queen size. Other features include lock up garage, separate laundry, BBQ on the balcony, ultra modern kitchen with microwave, dishwasher (all utensils, crockery, glassware, etc provided).
Please note: Children under 15 are not encouraged.
Culburra Beach Tilbury Cove general area information
Culburra Beach is approx. 15 minutes drive East of Nowra (2 1/2 hours from Sydney) and is a charming seaside community with Club facilities, restaurants, bottle shop, supermarkets, chemist, nursery, and delightful gift shops.
This fabulous holiday oasis boasts dolphins, whales, seals, sea eagles and the occasional wandering kangaroo!!
Possible activities include fishing, swimming, picnics, bicycle riding, long walks along the beach, surfing, reading, wind surfing, scuba diving, and breathing in the wonderful fresh sea air!!

We have enjoyed our stay at Villa Mer enormously. It was one of the best Australian holidays we ever had.
The comfort, elegance and position of the house right on the beach and the gracious welcome of the hosts had turned our stay in the unforgettable experience.

Villa Mer provided us with the most ideal holiday location and week of relaxation. We were 3 couples staying together, perfectly catered to by a luxury house with 3 queen size bedrooms. The view was superb and only 20 steps down to a beautiful beach where we enjoyed long walks.
We all agreed that Villa Mer is the only holiday rental we have ever stayed in where we had to bring almost nothing with us other than clothes and beach towels. The bathrooms offered lots of high quality towels as well as unexpected and plentiful supplies of sunscreen, moisturiser, aerogard etc. As keen cooks, we were also absolutely impressed by how well equipped the kitchen was - we were lacking nothing in the way of cooking implements, utensils and platters - again, all high quality. And we appreciated the desk full of brochures on activities in the local area and maps.
I booked the holiday with Katherine and she was delightful and a great communicator. Everything was as she described, bond was paid back promptly and the we were able to arrange entry to the property at a time that suited us. And what bliss to be able to walk out without having to run around and clean the house. We were able to leave still fully relaxed!

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Mer - lovely, well-equipped and comfortable modern house, great location with views over the bay - plenty of dolphins and sea eagles for entertainment!Family appreciated the great television/DVD player etc. Kitchen excellent - very good for 2 'grown up' couples and 2 x 20's
A group of 6 of us stayed at Villa Mer during the long weekend in Oct 2007. Apart from the property being in a great location, having beautiful views out to sea and living up to it's listing as luxury accommodation. I also liked some of the smaller touches at Villa Mer;
Bathroom products - body wash, pump hand soap, body moisturiser, packet tissues, bathrobes.
Kitchen extras – an abundance of everything like tea towels, coffee/tea cups, glassware, cooking pots and pans.

i would have been happy in a tent on this perfect site. the view is spectacular. as it turns out the villa is also perfect . this is a gem
What a treat - the picture lives up to the reality. We entered the property to be greated by a spectacular view of the bay from the front window. It was the perfect place to take my mother, husband and family to get away from Sydney. The location is wonderful set on a a thin strip with a beautiful beach either side. We spent the days walking on the beaches, rock hunting on the ledge below the house and walking in the national park. At night we had dinner over looking the bay overlooking one of the worlds million dollar views. My mother found the location perfect - she was easily able to get around the beach and rock cliffs because of the well thought out walking paths and benches. At night we watched DVD and had great family time. Thanks so much to the owners for making the stay so enjoyable. great fish and chips looking at the pelicans and with the cheeky cookaburras eyeing up our dinner. A delight!
Villa Mer is simply stunning! From the incredible view that hits you the second you walk in the door, through to the gorgeously appointed interior, this home was an absolute joy to stay in. A truly delightful experience that I highly recommend to any discerning holiday maker.

The beach / bay is right in front of you with extremely easy access. And just across the road is access to another amazing beach. Plus 10 mins drive to some calmer water beaches of Jervis Bay. Just amazing.

In a word, Villa Mer is perfect. From the breathtaking views to the beautiful decor, this townhouse has it all, and that is a big statement coming from me, a very discriminating traveller. Villa Mer is the only accommodation I have ever encountered that actually lives up to its website description--what you see is what you get! And oh, what you get!
From the moment we walked in, we felt completely at home, and there was nothing we needed during the course of our stay that we couldn't find. Plus, we loved being just steps from private beach access, picnic areas, rocks, and lookout points.
Being able to walk to so many attractions is a definite plus. We parked our car in the secure garage (an added bonus) and used it very little during our stay.
We started our days with breakfast on the picturesque balcony (with newspapers and pastries from the local bakery). Then we took long walks on the beach, followed by refreshing swims. During the heat of the day, we enjoyed staying inside in the air conditioning (another rare, but greatly appreciated feature), dolphin watching, reading or playing one of the many board games provided. We'd sightsee and take walks in the afternoon and return for a sumptuous barbecue on the deck, followed by a long, relaxing soak in the oversized bath and a peaceful night's sleep in the cozy king bed.
Our only regret was having to leave, but we are already checking our calendars in anticipation of future visits to Villa Mer, which gets five stars from me! I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else on the South Coast.
