Baybreak is a comfy, light and airy, 3 bedroom cottage located just a few minutes walk from the beach & white sands of Vincentia, on Jervis Bay (not far from Hyam's Beach). It has lots of character, polished timber floors, beach house feel, large outdoor deck for alfresco dining & plenty of glass which captures the natural surroundings.
The house is designed and furnished for relaxed living; the upper level consists of living-room, main bedroom (Q/S bed with ensuite) and a separate studio / sun room which offers a quiet refuge from the rest of the house. All 3 of these rooms open onto the elevated, private deck with an outlook through the trees in our garden. There are 2 other bedrooms located on the lower level of the cottage (one has a Q/B, the other 2 x singles), with their own bathroom.
The modern, fully equipped designer kitchen and dining room are located on the mezzanine level. Mod cons include large screen LCD TV, DVD, Hi-fi + Ipod dock, BBQ, dishwasher, ceramic cooktop, microwave oven, Nespresso coffee machine, & washing machine. We provide a selection of CDs, DVD movies, games & holiday readings for the enjoyment of our guests after a busy days recreation in and around the waters & bushland of one of the worlds most beautiful marine park reserves.
The house is set back from the road in a bushland garden setting, behind a stand of gums. Its a short stroll to beach, boat ramp, shops and restaurants. It will especially suite those looking for a relaxing break, close to the Bay's wonderful ocean playground and appreciated by guests looking for quality furnishings with those little added touches to make your stay all that more special.
The abundance of trees on the property are home to families of Rosellas, Lorikeets, Kookaburras and Possums and can provide a truly magnificent spectacle, especially at feeding time.
To ensure the comfort of our guests, we accept bookings of a maximum 6 persons. We do not accept bookings at Baybreak for "Schoolies" parties.

What to do
Vincentia is one of a cluster of villages on beautiful Jervis Bay, Australia's premier ocean marine park, just 2.5 hrs easy drive south of Sydney.
The beaches surrounding the area are renowned for having the whitest sands in the world. The calm, crystal blue/green waters of the Bay are perfect for swimming, snorkeling, diving, boating, kayaking, fishing, dolphin watching & in WINTER there is whale watching. The four nights stay at Baybreak was definitely a worthwhile experience.
The place is clean, tidy and most importantly family friendly; especially when we traveled with our 5 months old bub, our outdoor activities were cut short and most of the time we stayed indoor in Baybreak, which we couldnt complain more but regret to say that our stay at Baybreak was too short! Baybreak is also extremely convenient with shops located in walking distance. I would strongly recommend small to medium families. We cant thank you enough Phil and Loretta for making our stay a comfortable and an enjoyable one!

First time my parents had visited Australia.
House was perfect. Would comfortably sleep 4 adults and 2 children.
Very well equipped with pots and pans/kitchen utensils.
Short walk to the beach.
Very close to the local supermarket.
Large private garden with plenty of bird life. Not overlooked at all.
Large deck in the back garden. Perfect for BBQs and sitting out in the evening.
Also very nice separate television room with DVDs for children.
Great holiday.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. We felt so at home and couldn't fault the attention to detail, decor and cleanliness. Loved having breakfast with the parrots and kookaburras on the terrace. Excellent location being on the edge of the National Park and a short drive from Hyams Beach where we saw at least 15 dolphins only 5 metres from the shoreline! We are definitely coming back to Baybreak and for much longer next time!

Baybreak is ideally designed and equipped for a comfortable, homely and peaceful family break and well maintained in every detail. The separate sunroom is a perfect area for our son to have his own space and if you love being close to the native birds you will enjoy them from every room aswell as from the deck where we had breakfast and lunch. The beach is an easy stroll for swims and walks.
All this and the helpful owners are why we've come back 3 times
and will come again.

Our stay at Baybreak was very relaxing. The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need and want to make your stay enjoyable. We found many pristine beaches within a short distance from the house and when we were not out enjoying the area we were enjoying sitting on the deck watching the native birds that flock to the yard. Loved our stay at Baybreak, it was so clean, comfortable and with such an amazing attention to detail. Walking distance to the shopping centre, beach, restaurants, loved the Lorikeets and Kookaburras waiting to greet us. Would definitely stay again with you, the only drawback is the steep winding drive, perhaps it could be widened on the curves (for those who hate reverse parking!)

Our family loved the cosy, warm atmosphere that Day Break provided. It was close to beaches , shops and restaurants.
Day Break provided us with all the necessary house-hold utensils and cleaning agents which meant that we were required to bring only linen and towels.

We were two couples staying at Baybreak and were absolutely delighted with the house. It is spacious with a lounge with a beach feel to it and another 'entertainment' room to watch TV or to enjoy the great DVD collection. The place was in immaculate condition with a kitchen that has everything one could ask for. Although it is not right at the beach, you can hear the waves and it is only a five minute walk to the water. We will be back. :-) Thanks Phil and Loretta.

This is a great split level house, perfect for a small family (mum and dad upstairs, kids downstairs). Loved the bush setting, with kookaburras and rosellas as daily visitors, and the separate TV/games room off the back balcony. And all just a short walk from beach and shops.

Our family of 2 parents and 3 older boys stayed at Baybreak to attend our son's graduation as a naval officer from HMAS Creswell Naval College. We really enjoyed the house, Vincentia and the whole area Jervis Bay area. We did lots of walks around Vincentia and the National Parks, swimming at the beautiful beaches and relaxing at Baybreak which had everything we needed. I spent a week in this beautiful house with my son and my parents who were visiting from Belgium. We chose the house as it promised separate areas to allow for some quiet time but also looked cosy for some relaxing family times. It was perfect and lived up to all our expectations! The different levels and areas really catered for different sleep times and interests and the house was beautifully decorated. The area is very quiet and walking distance to the beach and shops! We booked this house for ten days and it was our first holiday with our little baby (six weeks). My parents in law from Europe were also here so we needed a house with some space. The house is very conveniently located, close to the shops in Vincentia and close to the beach. It is very quiet, you can't hear anything else than nature and birds.
It was very easy to communicate with the owners, the are very well organised and very friendly. The house has an individual character and there is everything you need. The DVD collection is great and updated, the whole sunroom is a very nice area to relax and the outdoor space is great. The house has a nice beachlife feeling and the beds are comfortable. Furthermore, it was very clean when we arrived. I can only recommmend to stay in this house, we will book it again, and, the rates are very reasonable for the Jervis Bay region.

The kids & I really enjoyed our time in Jervis Bay and our stay at the house. We were comfortable and relaxed. We loved all the little things that made the difference, such as the supply of DVDs, games, books, the basic kitchen supplies, bird seed, etc. It felt like our own holiday home! We also loved the fact that the place was large enough for everyone to have their own quiet space and time out - just what we needed after a busy year! Jervis Bay is beautiful and definitely worth the long drive - we'd certainly love to be back again given the opportunity!

Beautiful house in a beautiful location. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Really enjoyed our breakfasts in the fabulous sunroom, with the morning light streaming in. It was truly a holiday to remember and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Baybreak to others.

We really enjoyed our stay at Baybreak. It is very neat and quiet, a comfortable place for us to stay. We like the provision of variety of DVD and board games that we can spend our evening together with fun.
The location of the house is also very close to the shops, restaurants and beach, making everything very convenient. We would not hesitate to recommend this place.

Highly recommended! The cottage had a very homely feel. We particularly enjoyed relaxing in the sunroom and sitting out on the balcony with a few beers in the evening! Feeding the possums at night was a treat for the kids. Look forward to returning soon.

We had a very relaxing weekend at Baybreak. The beach is just a short walk away and the house is in a quiet location. It was a treat to feed the possums and birds on the outside deck.

My sister and I and our adult children thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Baybreak. It was so convenient for all the beaches and the national park that we were out all dya every day and able to relax as if we were at home in the evenings. The layout of the house was really good for those who did not want to spend time watching TV and the balcony becamse our centre of relaxation in the morning and the evenings where we were entertained by the resident kookaburras who appeared like clockwork every day! We will definately consider coming back for more next year!

Baybreak is a modern, beautifully clean, well appointed property, a short walk to various beaches and close to local shops. We enjoyed a great weekend and would return without hesitation. The hairdryer was very much appreciated as I forgot mine!

What a wonderful place to stay! Beautifully decorated and cared for. We had two sets of parents over from the UK and we all loved Baybreak. The only complaint would be that we only stayed for 3 nights!!

What a beautiful place to stay. Myself, husband, child and parents from overseas were delighted with the well presented cottage, close to the beach and shops this is truly an ideal place to stay. We will be back next year

Highly recommended! The house was absolutely gorgeous in a lovely, relaxed setting, the perfect place to let the hours just roll on by! Very well stocked too, just bring along food and drink! We hope to come back again for another visit.....
