The grounds - recognised as significant by Australia's Open Gardens Scheme "feature majestic trees, towering hedges, wisteria arbors, banks of lavender, espaliered fruit trees, and ornamental ponds." There's even an in-ground olympic sized trampoline!
The famous Daylesford Mill Market is just a short walk away, and the bustling foodie heart of the town is only a brisk walk along the road. Beautiful Daylesford Lake is also within walking distance.

Accommodation
Despite its proximity to Daylesford attractions, however, Tasma House feels quiet and secluded. The main house provides accommodation featuring four double bedrooms , two separate lounges, both with large flat screen LCD TV's with DVD players, two bathrooms with bathshower over, a music room with a grand piano, and a large kitchen and dining area , suitable for running workshops or group activities .
Hydronic heating operates in the main house.
There is a commercial espresso machine in the kitchen and free wireless internet access, and laundry access.
Three separate garden bungalow rooms allow you to add sleeping for up to 8 more guests. There are six single beds and one double bed in the garden rooms, about 5 metres from the main house and surrounded by terraces, courtyards and the tea garden.
The "Potager" self contained cottage is part of this private "village" having it's own fully equiped kitchen, bathroom, LCDTVDVD,a double bed, and two single beds. Perfect for the host of a group, or for mum and dad, or that early riser, late sleeper, that needs their own spot but wants to be part of the group.

Special events
Ceremonies
Many past guests have chosen to utilise the Gardens for their Wedding Ceremony. The Wisteria Arbour acts as an informal "aisle" with plenty of shade trees, and garden "rooms" and vista's providing for great photographic opportunities.
Ceremonies involving acoustic musicians are permitted during daylight hours.
Ceremonies involving up to 30 offsite visitors [50 including those guests staying on the property] cost an extra $300. Higher guest numbers are by by further negotiation.
Functions and receptions
Tasma House is in a residential area, with all the comforts of a big rambling country house. As a mark of respect to our friends and neighbours who live in the area, functions and receptions are not encouraged.
There are a number of great country halls in the region, with local bus and taxi services to assist in getting people safely to and from these venues.
A catering service to provide canapes and drinks after the ceremony would be allowable under the ceremony tarrif
