Cosy Coomba is ideal for a romantic weekend, short honeymoon or solitude. Coomba Park is surrounded by Smiths and Wallis Lakes. It is situated along the mid north coast off the Pacific Highway. Follow the Lakes Way turnoff through the village of Bungwahl, Smiths Lake and Sandbar until you see a signpost on your left to Coomba Park. Proceed along the scenic Coomba Road, adjacent to the shores of Wallis Lake until you arrive at the rural village of Coomba Park. Unfortunately, we can't cater for children.
Amongst the tranquility and wildlife there are opportunities for tennis, swimming, fishing, barbecues and picnics along the foreshores of the lake. Neighbouring beaches include Bluey's Beach, Elizabeth Beach and Boomerang Beach.
There are lots of wallaroos and kangaroos hopping around the village.
You can bring a boat and sail or motor on Wallis Lake. A good place to do canoeing or kayaking as well.
Native birds are everywhere but especially on the foreshores.
Surrounding areas you can visit include Smith's Lake, Pacific Palms, Wallingat and Booti Booti National Parks.
You can go on lots of scenic walks and drives. It takes 40 minutes to drive to Forster and Tuncurry.
If swimming is more your style you can swim in the lake or drive to nearby beaches.
Tennis court and horse riding are located nearby.
A large saltwater lake that is well known as a great fishing and oyster area.
