The property is the ultimate in secluded retreat with sweeping views over Blackfellows Lake in its own entirely natural setting. The home provides the latest in contempory living with floor to ceiling glass windows in every room and high quality fittings throughout.
The home is situated on 280 acres of bush and farmland which is a haven for bird and wildlife. There are private walking tracks to the nearby Bega River Estuary with plenty of places to picnic. The property has its own jetty and boat ramp which enables guests to launch their own small boat or canoe and experience the many water activities at their doorstep. The fishing in the estuary is excellent with flathead and bream easily caught either off the shoreline or from a boat.
The home is suited for 3 couples as there are 3 large bedrooms each with their own award winning en-suite bathroom. Alternatively two of the bedrooms can convert into two king single beds to accommodate four children and there is a further double sofa bed on the upstairs living area. The extensive lounge room has comfortable leather chairs and a large digital TV with DVD with a large open fire place and underfloor heating throughout the lower level of the home. Timber is used extensively throughout the house: oyster-covered stakes and the old timbers from the original demolished fishing shack link the historical users of the site with the current owners.
Wake up to the sun streaming through the large open living areas. It is the perfect retreat both in winter and summer. Kangaroos are found all over the property but not immediately around the house as it is fenced off to protect the landscaped native garden from the local mammals.
The property is five minutes from Tathra with its beautiful surf beach and historical jetty. Further afield are Mimosa Rocks and Bournda National Parks with a wide range of beaches where you can swim and sunbathe often having the beach entirely to yourself.
This property is not suitable for young children due to the absence of stair gates and its proximity to the water's edge.

Our family of 4 stayed here for a week in January. This is an outstanding property and house. The location is very private and beautiful. The house is fantastic to be in, well set up and has everything you need. There are magnificent views from every room. The bedrooms and ensuites are very comfortable and beautifully finished. True 5 star luxury. The kitchen is a joy if you like to cook, as it is well equipped and spacious. A lot of our time was spent on the water in our boat or kayaks. It was such a luxury to tie up to the private jetty below the house, very easy.Many thanks, we will be back!
