This seaside B&B provides that well deserved rest, peace and tranquility, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The two bedroom home provides comfortable accommodation for up to 6 people, conveniently located between Gulf St Vincent and the McLaren Vale wine region on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula. The spectacular beach, affectionately known as 'Maslins', is just a 5min stroll down the road. You could take a dip in the amazing blue waters, take a walk along the stunning coastline or sit atop the cliffs and watch the local hangliders soar overhead. If you prefer, a myriad of local wineries can offer appetizing distractions at their cellar door, visit the Fleurieu Visitor Centre for local information or shop at the famous Willunga Market.
The beach house, furnished in a casual style, is fully fenced and set on a hill overlooking the Gulf and cliffs. The interior, which is light, airy and welcoming, provides beautiful views across the tree tops to the sea from the living room. A verandah overlooking the Gulf is a great place for al fresco breakfasts or an evening drink and BBQ entertaining a few friends or for a romantic dinner for two at sunset.
There's plenty to do at CalmaBlu - beach activities, wine tasting, cheese and wine trails, 30 minute drive to Victor Harbor, experience a 'joy flight' at nearby Aldinga Airfield or sit on the deck with a glass of wine and enjoy the view. Great for a family holiday, a friends catch up or a 'getaway' just for the two of you.
The home is air-conditioned, has fans in both bedrooms, has a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, linen and bedding is provided, TV, DVD, CD player, games, books, BBQ, off street parking and we're dog friendly.

We loved our time at calmablu!! Perfect location and the house had everything we could need. Thanks Pat and Peter . It was a lovely place away from Sydney :) . We went here for the location to the stages of the Santos Tour down under and it was perfect. Close to everything

We would like to say how much we enjoyed staying at Calmablu. Pat & Pete went to a lot of effort to make sure that everything you could need was available to you. The breafast items they left, plus a couple of little surprises was just lovely. I really loved being able to wake up, make a proper coffee and sit on the verandah look out to the ocean.
The location was perfect for us as we had friends living in the area, but as far as proximity to everything it was great.
Thanks heaps for making out stay a memorable one.

Lovely place for Christmas, only 4 minute walk to the beach. Within 10mins to McLaren Vale and 40mins to Adelaide. Breakfast provisions were plentiful that we couldn't finish it all.

I'm a stressed out Melbournian however, after 15 minutes at Calmablu I was relaxed and smiling looking out at the fabulous sea view with a cold local bubbly and children (all 3) with ice cream in hand all supplied for us by Pam and Pete on a warm 40' day.
Lovely quiet location in beach house accommodation to enjoy and only short drives to areas of interest. Enjoy- we did.

We (and our two small dogs) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at CalmaBlu ... the house is nicely equipped with all the comforts of home, and very handy to the beach. Bacon and eggs on the barbie for breakfast, sunsets over the water from the deck, and a secure yard for the dogs ... it was a good as it gets (although the weather could have been a bit warmer!)

We stayed at Calmablu for the weekend, with 2 kids and 1 pooch. Pat and Pete have thought of everything, the house is beautiful, very well done out, with lovely views of the sea, which is only 5mins walk away. The breakfast provisions were yum and plentiful, and the sweets, doggy treats and wine were a very thoughtful touch. We had a great time and plan to return for longer next time

What a perfect break we all had. Ruby and Harry (our two small furry children) thought it was fabulous and we found the experience to be perfect for what we were looking for.
We enjoyed ocean views and a lovely cottage that had everything that we could have needed....oh, and with breakfast provisions and doggie treats included!

Thanks Pat and Pete for creating such a warm and inviting atmosphere in the lovely Calma Blu Cottage. We enjoyed the lovely decor, sensational views and close proximity to the beach and walking tracks. Reggie, our 11yr old Minnie Foxie thanks you for the special doggie treats in the fridge!! You have thought of everything needed in a home away from home - right down to a sewing kit! We will be back!
