So much beauty, so little time! Robin and Garry have truly made Barrenjoey feel like a home away from home. Inviting, spacious, secure and equipped beyond expectation; the whole place is a perfect combination of modern and vintage design. We will definitely return as soon as life allows. Thank you to the core!

What a lovely tranquil peaceful place to stay. Barrenjoey has everything you could possibly need and so much more. Beautiful location, wildlife and space. We had a wonderful relaxing stay in Barrenjoey. We saw kangaroos on the lawn, koalas in the trees and an abundance of birdlife. I would recommend for anyone looking to get away from it all.

A beautiful spot and great facilities, congratulations to Robin and Garry for giving us a perfect start to a perfect wedding.
You can do as much or as little as you like, watching the sunrise from the front verandah was breath taking.

A beautiful retreat in the Adelaide where everything is provided for a perfect stay. Robin and Garry have created a home away from home.
We found it difficult to tear ourselves away from Barrenjoey. My wife was quite content to sit on the verandah and watch the birds in the garden. We did manage to explore some of the surrounding area and there are plenty of places nearby for great food and drink.
A marvellous place for couples or families.

We took over Barrenjoey for a week in October and not one of us will every forget it. Robin & Garry (great people) set up a camper trailer and allowed two caravans onto the property that meant some mornings breakfast was for 14. We had wanted a place that we could invite our far flung friends to gather and Barrenjoey gave us everything we didn't even think we needed. From the soft, warm blankets, to the compost bin. From the afternoon walks to the dam with wine in hand, to the never ending supply of serving platters. If you're wanting a break where you feel like you're looking after a friends place while they're away, then look no further. If you think I'm waxing lyrical - read the guestbook at Barrenjoey. All who meet her, love her.

Excellent, close to all Adelaide Hills towns, great country property, well appointed, just like they left yesterday and left the property fully equipped. Can't wait to come back for a full week as 2 nights was not enough and want to come back for a full week, I would recommend this to anyone wanting a home in the bush but close to lots of Adelaide Hills attractions.

A truly wonderful experience staying at Barrenjoey. This location is just perfect for those wanting a peaceful getaway whilst still being in close proximity to Adelaide and the Barossa. The house is well appointed and Robin's little touches give it a truly homely feel. We will most defenitely return in the not too distant future, so what better recommendation can there be.

Barrenjoey is the perfect get away for families. The house is well equipped with all you will need for a comfortable, enjoyable stay. We appreciated the thought and care the hosts put into catering for our young children.... lots of age appropriate toys / dvds. The property itself is tranquil and restorative - with lots to explore and an abundance of birdlife & its own resident kangaroo family.
The property would be equally suited to a romantic get away or for anyone who just wants a break from the frenzied pace of city life. Looking forward to visiting again!

Our stay was about a step away in peace and quiet with a touch of comfort. And staying at Barenjoey we received this and much more!!! Owners are great to deal with, the house is not far from a local village that offered us a big warm country welcome!(Its often the people that makes a place extra special!) The house itself was very warm, very comfortable and well equipped.
The owners little extra touches made us all feel even more welcomed.
We didnt really get to nearby wineries this trip but will be back to take those in. If readers are after a peaceful comfortable place, easy to deal with owners and a local coffee spot in a nearby country community- We can very much recommend this spot. Kate, Elle, Marg and Pete. May 2010

Our stay at Barrenjoey Hideaway was amazing! Perfect weather for the fire, kangaroos at the back door in the morning, plenty of spots to explore, the beautiful sound of sheep & cows in the morning...what more could you ask for. What also amazed us was it felt like you were miles away from the city (with no noise and the feeling of remoteness), however, was a quick 40 minute drive back into the suburbs. We highly recommend this property & look forward to a return visit soon.

Absolutely lovely hosts.Very friendly and welcoming. On arrival, the home was pristine and the fire was lit. Beautiful property with heritage to boot. Plenty of space to roam through delightful gardens in total privacy. We have stayed in many B and B's and this one is one of the absolute best. Thank you Garry and Robin for a delightful stay, particularly given the very short notice. Barrenjoey rocks!
