Parkville Unit

"What a wonderful stay! Lori and Gerry welcomed us ino their lovely little home away from home, full of cheer and helpful advice! The unit was very comfortable, spacious,self contained with linen and very cute. The kitchen is great with all you need if you dont want to eat out although the tram/train stop is just down the road!2 seperate bedrooms (1xQ,1xS)allow guests to unpack n relax while the comfy couch and tv kept us entertained after our long drive. Will be returning for sure, was a wonderful wknd. :)"

"We were very impressed at the quality of this accommodation. The unit is large and well-equipped for any length of stay in Melbourne. We appreciated the close to full-sized kitchen with stove, oven and microwave to help save on the cost of meals (not to mention the lovely touch of an infusion-style teapot for the hot cup of tea after a busy day of shopping and sight-seeing!). The bathroom was lovely and clean with toilet, vanity, shower (with great pressure and hot water), along with a heater and washing machine to make life easier. The lounge area was lovely and roomy, and we greatly appreciated the LCD tv with all digital channels available, along with the large gas heater to help stave off the colder weather. The air conditioner would certainly come in handy for the warmer weather. The bedrooms were lovely and comfortable, with plenty of space for clothes and to get out of 'suitcase living' for a little while. We also appreciated the electric blankets on both sides of the queen sized bed! Lorri and Gerard were the loveliest of hosts during our stay, willing to leave us to our own devices, yet able to help with anything we needed. They were just lovely with our young son and certainly made our stay very pleasant and welcoming. The unit is very close to trams (heading past the Royal Childrens, Royal Melbourne and Womens Hospitals, as well as Victoria markets on the way to the city) as well as the trainline, and is only a short walk from the racecourse, zoo and some lovely parks. Brunswick street and Lygon Street are only a short distance away as well. I would not hesitate to recommend the unit to anyone needing accommodation in Melbourne, and am looking forward to our next visit!"

"My daughter and I had a fabulous time at this quaint and well appointed 2 bedroom apartment. We loved the garden setting and cosy vibe. The hosts were more than accomodating, and the location was great for getting into the city and attractions. "

"This unit is a delight to stay in. It is wonderfully located next to beautiful parklands and very close to trams which take you directly into the city. It is also close to universities and hospitals. The unit is spacious and comfortably furnished and all needs are catered for. Lori and Gerard are charming hosts who are more than willing to help in any way to make your stay comfortable. I highly recommend this accommodation."

"My parents came down to stay at this apartment and were more than satisfied as everything you would need to feel comfortable is supplied. The owners are just great. On the edge of the park and very quiet but also just around the corner to public transport and very easy to get to the city centre, just perfect. Will be my first choice if anyone comes down for a visit again. Thanks again."
