Crescentfield is truly outstanding top-end accommodation. We spent a wonderful 6 days and were inspired so much by this area of Hobart, that we bought a house nearby. Sharyn's superb decorating skills and meticulous attention to every detail are very much in evidence throughout the house. The garden is beautifully landscaped and is the perfect backdrop for alfresco dining, reading a book, or just sitting quietly doing nothing. Paying the bond was initially daunting, but it was refunded to our bank account within hours of our departure.

Great place to stay for a weekend in Hobart. Beautiful home, short walk into town but far enough away to be very peaceful and quiet. Would certainly stay there again when I next head to Hobart.

I am happy to recomment Crescentfield Cottage as a place to stay while visiting Hobart, Tasmania.
When we found Crescentfield Cottage on the internet, we were simply looking for a place to stay for a couple of weeks for a family celebration. The photos of the house told us that it is a beautiful house set in a delightful garden. All the work that must go into keeping it in pristine condition helps to give a feeling of space and wonder. What the internet didn't show was that the adventure of visiting Hobart would become extended into the adventure of living at Crescentfield Cottage. Discovering all the nooks and crannies that it has to offer kept us entertained. The house accommodated seven of us comfortably yet no-one was crowded. We managed to find plenty of personal space. Two small children were delighted by their attic bedrooms and entertained by a garden that contained a wonderful cubbyhouse. Luckily they didn't discover the blueberries just ripening on a small bush. There is something for everyone.
The nearby shops which offer first-class gourmet food were an extension of the life at the Cottage. Being close to the centre of the city was useful. This was part of our adventure at Crescentfield but I'm sure it would be different every time.

A grand stately home supplying every need for comfort even great consideration for children. We were a family of 8 with 4 grandchildren ages 10,6,4 & 8 mths. Sharyn's personal touches add to the friendliness of this spacious home providing every modern facility. Handy to an excellent grocery/small goods store and with easy access to town facilities.

We were really lucky to find and then choose Crescentfield Cottage. We have stayed in all sorts of accommodation all over the world and sometimes think that we will be disappointed when we arrive. There was definitely NOTHING disappointing about Crescentfield. Sharyn was so welcoming through her messages - both by email and in the house - that we felt very at home and knew exactly where to go to get all we needed. Anyway, all the great things said on this site are true so anyone thinking about booking should feel very safe in doing so.

What a fantastic find!! Crescentfield Cottage made our holiday to Hobart one of the best holidays my young family, my husband and I have ever had! Travelling from Perth WA made this a fairly significant holiday with 3 young children and Sharyn's special touches and attention to comfort and luxury have made this holiday accommodation second to none. Location was fantastic, plenty of amenities close by and a picture perfect property we felt lucky to have found such a winning combination!! We have started planning our next holiday back to Crescentfield Cottage! Thankyou Sharyn.

I booked Crescentfield Cottage for a group of seven girlfriends celebrating a hen weekend and we could not have been happier. The house is beautiful and immaculately presented, and the gardens are absolutely stunning. The location is also great. Sharyn's tips for making the most of the local area were very handy, too - we spent far too much money in the Hill Street Grocery, which is fabulous!
We were especially grateful to Sharyn for her flexibility in allowing us to check out late on our day of departure. One of our party fell ill and was hospitalised overnight, which meant a sleepless night for all of us. The fact that we were able to enjoy a couple of extra hours' sleep in Crescentfield's lovely comfortable beds before leaving was a godsend. We will be back for sure.

Perfection! The cottage was amszing. It was spotlessly clean, bright and well maintained. My children adored the bedrooms upstairs and I was so thankful of the very well secured child gate at the top of the stairs too. Sharyn has thought of everything to make a lovely holiday, from gorgeous bedrooms and bathrooms, to a well thought out kitchen, to toys and books for children (and even a cubby in the secure garden). I am so pleased we found this little piece of heaven. Sharyn you have set a new (very high) benchmark for other holidays now!

Would thoroughly recommend Crescentfield for a delightful stay. The house is perfect for young families, already equipped with books, toys and wonderful garden (with cubby) for play and exploring. The house had everything we needed for the stay and heated floors are a luxurious treat

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house. From the first contact (by phone), Sharyn was a great host, even putting on heating and lights for our evening arrival. So much attention to detail both inside and out. It was particularly great to have lots of things for our 3 & 5 year olds to do. I enjoyed preparing dinner whilst watching them play in a safe and fun garden. A good combination of the comforts of home as well as some of the nicer aspects of being away. Great location, IGA 2 minutes away and a fantastic playground 1 block away. It was hard to leave and I'm sure our kids think this is our second home.
