Located in one of Gerroa's most elevated positions (two doors down from the famed Kingsford Smith Lookout), this four-level home, with heated plunge/lap pool and spa, is more like a self-contained resort than a mere holiday house.

Nearly every room and private outdoor space of this beautifully designed property (completed in 2009) enjoys incredible views of Seven Mile Beach and the Shoalhaven Bight, as well as spectacular sunsets over the Berry escarpment and Mount Coolangatta.

With four bedrooms and three bathrooms, and six separate indoor and outdoor entertaining areas, the property offers a multiude of place for large communal gatherings and intimate nooks to hide away.

The house is designed to take full advantage of the amazing views, both winter and summer, with sunny protected spots in winter and shady spaces cooled by the prevailing north easterlies on hot summer afternoons.

With a central double-sided wood burning fireplace, and exquisitely finished in sandstone, stainless steel and hoop pine, the top floor is designed for maximum comfort and relaxation year round. Some classic mid-century furniture reflects the humble origins of the original 60s beachhouse (built by Blue!) and from every nearly corner of the home the pool mural inspired by Mondrian''s "Broadway Boogie Woogie Blues" catches the eye.

Descending down a circular external staircase from the garage level courtyard is the entry to the swimming pool. With a 3x5 metre plunge section with powerful swim jets and seating, and a 12 metre lap section with infinity edge and waterfall overlooking the ocean, the pool can be fully heated year round.

The separate poolhouse building has a full outdoor kitchen with all facilities for al fresco dining, adjacent to a vegetable and herb garden for use by guests.

Gerroa's surf beach and the local store/post office/newsagency and an award-winning cafe are a five-minute stroll down the hill. And the ultimate convenience - whether you’re after a monster seafood platter or takeaway alcohol – the Fishermans’s Club is just 50 metres up the lane opposite. The nearby towns of Berry and Gerringong have terrific shopping and a range of restaurants and cafes.

A local farmstand, with organic eggs, jams and seasonal produce is a 200-metre stroll from the house.

Bookings with the local surf school and golf club can be arranged, as well as pilates, yoga, personal training/gym, massage and other beauty treatments.

There is easy access to the spectacular Gerringong to Kiama coastal walk (opens June 09). Visit the local wineries, go on a whalewatching tour (June to November), kayak with dolphins on Jervis Bay or discover the secret waterfalls of the Berry and Kangaroo Valley escarpments. A moonlight canoe trip on the Shoalhaven Gorge is a must if your visit falls on a full moon.

The property is only rented to one group at a time. Different sections of the property are locked off depending on guest numbers and requirements. Bookings for couples in summer are only available last-minute (within two weeks of stay). Midweek bookings are for a minimum of three nights.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

* Check-in is from 5pm. Check-out is by Noon. Early check-in (midday) or late check-out (5pm) may be available for an additional payment of $150 (peak season) and $100 (low season). Not available in school holiday periods.

* No functions of any kind are permitted

* Minimum security deposit is $2000 by credit card pre-authorisation. Additonal security deposits may be required for large non-family groups.
