There is a modern ensuite and second bathroom plus a downstairs WC/powder area. Comfortably sleeps eight but can sleep more using the upstairs mezzanine sofa lounge/bed if needed.

The main living room has a 42" plasma TV, ipod-friendly stereo and a DVD player. There are comfortable leather lounges and a fantastic, extra-large dining table and breakfast bar.

There is a second TV area upstairs on the mezzanine floor complete with LCD TV/DVD, futon lounge, toys, desk and chair. The lounge folds out to an extra double bed if needed. Ideal retreat for kids or teenagers.

Upstairs also features a second outdoor deck area opening off two of the bedrooms with two sun lounges and a small coffee table and chairs.

Main kitchen is outfitted with Smeg appliances, s/steel fridge, Caesar stone benchtops and all the right cooking accessories.

Child friendly with access to change table, highchair, portacot and safety gate if needed.

Well apointed laundry has a washing machine, dryer and accessories.

There is ducted reverse-cycle airconditioning and ceiling fans for the summer months, while there is an outdoor gas heater if the temperature drops at night so guests can keep enjoying the deck and stars on amazing clear nights.

Snorkelling or rock walking a few minutes up the road at Second valley is a real hidden treasure not well known by everyone.

Try a spot of beach fishing or drop a line off the local jetty.

If you own a 4WD, take a short drive to Deep Creek National Park, just before Cape Jervis, for an easy 4WD short track adventure. It will give you uninterrupted views across to Kangaroo Island and is a well-kept secret by locals. There is a great chance you will see kangaroos and the beautiful countryside is a bonus. Pull up and walk down to the exclusive beach cove hidden at the end of the track. No previous 4WDing experience necessary. A great spot for a picnic lunch.
