As a first time visitor to Bendigo, Gladstone was the perfect place to stay.After a day visiting a town full of history, coming home to a house that was filled with old world charm was a delight. Gladstone is in a great location as you can easily walk into the heart of the town.We came on the train and Gladstone was only a 5 minute walk. The house itself had everything you could need and Brian was "on hand"to assist in any way possible. Having milk, bread and butter already in the fridge was handy and just part of the little extras provided. We would love to come back to Gladstone.

What a fantastic house! Location is great and everything is provided - full kitchen including cutlery and crockery. BBQ and outdoor area are perfect on warmer evenings. Short walk to railway station, supermarket and Bendigo CBD. Highly recommended!

Our 2 night stay at the "Gladstone" was just wonderful. I highly recommend it. Not a negative thing to say about it. Brian's recommendations about where to eat, what to see, and how to get about Bendigo really streamlined out short stay. From the complimentary bottle of wine to the dish of chocolates, it was fab. Cosy & comfy. Slipping between the Sheridan sheets after a long day of sightseeing was just another joy the "Gladstone" offers. As Molly Meldrum would say "Do yourself a favour - you won't be disappointed".
Five stars to Brian & his lovely "Gladstone".

What a wonderful experience all-round. Our Second of many more getaways at Brian's place. Home away from home.Love the antiques and Knick Knacks from around the world. Warm and cosy relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Excellant accommodation, loved the old world and tastful furnishings. My sister and I visited Bendigo for family research and our host Brian was outstanding with his help. We felt like we gained a friend and would recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. The welcome drink and fare were a lovely touch. Thank you both for your hospitality.

This accommodation is highly recommended. Very friendly & helpful host. Extremely clean and rooms warm and inviting. House very warm for the cold nights. Close proximity to the CBD is walking distance. Roomy bathroom and bedrooms have an inviting 'old world' charm. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for your kindness Brian.

Thank you Brian and Rosemary for your amazing hospitality, you couldn't have done more to accommodate our needs over our three week stay. We found the house to be very comfortable and warm on the chilly days we were there and had everything we needed. Its close proximity to the CBD was a bonus.We will be recommending it to everyone.
