Description
Berry B&B offers guest accomodation within a large rustic style house. The house is built of recycled hand made bricks, rumoured to be from Old Goulbourn Gaol. It has been under restoration for the last 3 years and now, although but no means complete, the house is ready to welcome B&B guests for stays and weekend visits to the beautiful Berry area.
We are on 2.5 acres, part of an original larger dairy farm with a creek running through the property, yet minutes from the village.
We have three guest bedrooms in a wing dedicated t o B&B guests.
One bedroom has an ensuite, with an additional bathroom adjoining the other two bedrooms.
French doors open from two bedrooms to a large courtyard.
Communal living areas and a pool.
We have 3 guest rooms, so if the calendar is showing unavailable just check with us. The stayz site blocks the calendar with each enquiry making it necessary for us to regularly UNBLOCK the calendar! JUST CHECK WITH US. The calendar is a poor reflection of our bookings.
Feel free to enjoy the surrounds and communal areas of the house.
A nightime or evening swim in the pool after a day sightseeing or shopping.
We are here to assist with anything you may need and hope to be able to accomodate you here whilst ensuring your needs for privacy and relaxation. In this regard, please include any details (reason for your visit etc) with your enquiry that may help us plan for and accomodate your stay.
Breakfast included consists of cereal, sourdough bread/toast from our local woodfired bakery, tea and awesome coffee (ex coffee shop machine) If your host has been good maybe even homemade marmalade! Cooked breakfast ($10) can be easily arranged if you needed. You may prefer to visit one of the many cafes minutes away in Berry.
There is plenty of parking available for guests.
We have a friendly house dog and a lazy cat. Outside there are chickens, a peahen and chick, a peacock (who goes by the name of Bertie) and platypus in the creek.

Boutique shopping in Berry village with many quality cafes.
Stunning beaches and good surf (10mins) Patrolled in summer.
Whale watching, diving or climbing in nearby Jervis Bay (1/2 hr)

NUTS AND BOLTS. (About the house!)
Our house has been under restoration and renovation for a number of years. Originally a farm area then a B&B it had been left and neglected. We have cleared the creek of privet, pittosporum and lantana and managed the flow of water. We now have a clear creek with platypus.
We have let a bit of light into the house.
We have slowly and carefully been fixing up and restoring the house.
We are not millionaires, this has taken time and effort and is by no means complete.
It is ongoing.There will probably always be something being done.
You may see evidence of work in progress.
You'll see the tractor and bits and pieces.
We will not be able to hide all this away.
We have vague plans of establishing a lavender farm!
Rest assured you will not be woken uo by the tractor in the early morning, or at any stage. (Unless you request it!)
We do feel though that we are able to offer you a comfortable, welcoming authentic stay for your visit to this lovely part of the NSW coast. We look forward to meeting you and hope you enjoy your stay and are able to experience an authentic country village lifestyle while you are here.

Pricing is based on one person plus extra as required per room per night, and includes breakfasts, fresh linen, Stayz fees and GST. Cleaning is charged once per booking.
