Enjoy the privacy of a fully self-contained cottage, set on one acre. Relax on the deck, while taking in the magnificent views of rolling countryside. Surrounded by Port Campbell National Park, the closest neighbours are a kilometre away in the little village of Princetown.
The sea side resort of Port Campbell is just 10 minutes away, offering a safe swimming beach, cafes and gift shops.
Explore the rugged coastline and visit beaches that only the locals know about.
Surfing, swimming, snorkelling, walking, sight seeing. It's all here, at Southern Comfort, where the 12 Apostles are just 2kms down the road!
Southern Comfort is exactly that. Comfortable accommodation right near the Southern Ocean.
Fronting the Great Ocean Road, the cottage sits in an elevated position on the one acre block, offering views of rolling farmland. An historic sand stone building, is a feature of the property.
Kangaroos often feed on the lush grass at Southern Comfort and can be seen frequently up behind the property. Keep walking a bit and you'll actually see the 12 Apostles - from just up behind us!
Parrots, eagles, swamp harriers and willy wagtails are often seen.
The house offers a fully equipped kitchen, including a microwave and full sized fridge/freezer.
A sleek, modern bathroom, separate toilet and laundry facilities, including a washing machine, have recently been installed.
An open plan living/dining area features a wood fire with stone surround. (with a fire guard)
The cottage has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed, the other with a double/single bunk.
Visitors must provide their own linen and towels.
Dogs welcome (outside!) The property is not fenced, so it is only suitable for dogs who don't wander.
Please note that as we live a long distance from the property, we are mostly unable to take last minute bookings.
