ACCOMMODATION LAYOUT:
MASTER: Set away from the other 3 bedrooms, the master bedroom is reached via a private corridor off the upstairs landing area. It features a queen sized bed and ensuite with a large spa bath. A private balcony leads down to the pool area.
BED 2: A large sized bedroom with queen bed and built in robes. There is plenty of space for all your gear as well as a cot if you have a young child.
BED 3: A further large sized bedroom of similar size with queen bed and built in robes. It too includes plenty of wardrobe space as well as a cot if needed.
BED 4: This large bedroom comprises a set of bunks and 2 king single beds. As with each bedroom, an intercom ensures that the kids can be heard downstairs if needed.
A porta-cot is permanently set up for guests use and may be moved to any room. A high chair is also available.
PLEASE NOTE:
We ask that while the sleeping arrangements may not suit everyone that the beds remain in each room and not moved. The moving of beds has been a constant problem for the owners and so we no longer offer alternate bedding configurations.
Please be aware that whilst there are beds for 10 people the dining table is only set up for 8.
A Note on the Property Condition: The house is 11 years old and whilst in good order throughout, does show some signs of minor wear and tear. The price has been set accordingly with a revamp to take place in the near future.
RELAX!
The key focus of Capri in the summer periods is of course the large solar heated swimming pool (the pool does get nice and warm when the sun shines but is not gas heated in the winter months). The property also benefits from extensive decking ensuring that there is loads of space for everyone. The outdoor shower is always a hit!
Indoors there is essentially 2 large living zones. Downstairs there is a combined Kitchen/Meal/Family area together with a bar with stools. There is a large plasma TV, DVD player, Stereo System and comfy lounges. The dining table seats 8 with a highchair available. The upstairs living zone includes a large LED TV, DVD Player, Comfy lounges and a PS1 PlayStation with games.
The property is equally welcoming in both Summer and Winter and being only a short walks to the shops or the beach you can literally leave the car behind. A morning stroll to 'The Baths' for breakfast is a must do as is the walk along the back beach cliffs.

For those with pets or small children: The pool is enclosed for your peace of mind however the stairs inside the house are not carpeted so please be mindful of that. A set of Safety gates are provided if you want to confine them to one area for safety. Well trained pets are welcome with prior permission of the owner.
Smokers are respectfully asked not to smoke inside the home and to thoughtfully dispose of cigarette butts.
NEW FOR 2011/12 - THE GARAGE HAS BEEN CONVERTED INTO A GAMES ROOM COMPLETE WITH BILLIARDS TABLE AND TABLE TENNIS TABLE. AN OLD LOUNGE SUITE AND A FEW LAMPS MAKE IT A HIT WITH THE KIDS AND ADULTS ALIKE!
Linen Hire & House Cleaning
LINEN:
Linen is not included. Most guests bring their own linen (including sheets, pillow cases, tea towels), however a linen hire service is also available. Expect to pay around $250 to cover the linen needs for all 10 guests for the week (or part there of). All beds come with doonas and pillows.
HOUSECLEANING:
As with all private holiday homes guests are expected to leave the house clean and tidy at the end of your stay. Excess cleaning will be deducted from your bond at the rate of $55 per hour.
GARBAGE:
Garbage is a big problem with guests particularly in peak periods. Each tenancy is provided with a standard black bin and we ask that you use no more than half the recyclable bin. Excess rubbish must be taken with you or contact us to arrange for excess garbage to be taken away. As a courtesy to the owners and next guests please do not vacate without taking care of excess rubbish. Bins are to be left on the curb Sunday night for a Monday morning collection.
Note: A garbage hopper is located at the end of Normanby Road, Sorrento (open 10 am to 4 pm every day from
December 26 to January 31 and for the rest of the year, Saturdays and Sundays only). Alternatively, excess rubbish can be taken to the tip at Truemans Road, Rye (open 8 am to 4pm Monday to Friday and 8 am to 5 pm Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays).
NO PARTY CLAUSE:
We welcome groups of friends to the house and hope that you enjoy your stay however we do not permit the use of the house for parties and functions unless arranged in advance.
