Coasteyre Getaway is located 22km from the City of Port Lincoln, Seafood Capital of Australia. We are only 10kms from the Port Lincoln Airport with hire cars (Budget, Europe, Avis and Ceduna rent-a-car) and only 25km's from the coastal town of Tumby Bay. This beautiful fully furnished, self-contained, 3 bedroom holiday home is a little patch of paradise. Local activities include:- rock fishing, squidding off the jetty, boat fishing with launching off beach, canoeing, windsurfing, kite surfing, surfing, golf course, tennis courts, bird watching, 2 adult mountain bikes and 1 child's bike with helmets,relaxing with a cuppa and a magazine or book, watch a DVD from our collection, a fully enclosed playground a short stroll away, a fully enclosed pergola makes up most of the backyard with outdoor setting, lounge and cane setting in a sunny corner and beach walking. The lounge has spectacular views from inside the home along the front and side. The lovely cottage pine kitchen is very homely with a full size fridge/freezer, stove,grill, microwave and large electric fry pan and everything you need to prepare your own meals which is a great savings for families and the budget conscious. Also we have a bar fridge for your drinks and bait in the car garage.
Coasteyre Getaway your romantic getaway or family holiday
Coasteyre Getaway has 3 bedrooms, the master room has a Queen Size bed with electric blanket, wake up to ocean views on left hand side of room and across the front of room. Don't set your alarm wake up with the sun shining in. The second bedroom has a double bed bunk with electric blanket & a single bed on top with left hand side view of the sea. The third bedroom has a double bunk in it with front view of the sea. This room can be darkened for a baby in a portacot which we provide (free please ask) and we have a highchair. We can sleep up to 7 and 1 baby maximum. We have a r/c air conditioning and a slow combustion wood heater with wood provided in winter time which makes the home very cosy. On a full moon the moon shines a silvery trail across the bay which is very romantic. The stars are amazing on a clear night and the lights of Port Lincoln can be seen across the bay from the front verandah,lounge and kitchen window. My husband often catches 3 squid off the rocks directly in front of Coasteyre down the stairwell to the beach only 50 metres from the house. We have a laundry with washing machine and dryer and a line under the pergola. All linen, bath & beach towels & quilts etc. supplied.
Louth Bay is a residential and holiday town
Grocery shops and fuel are in Tumby Bay, prior to Louth Bay off the highway, and in the City of Port Lincoln. North Shields is 12 kms away where the Wheatsheaf Tavern is located just off the main road it is recognised as the home of hospitality and serves excellent counter meals and is the local hotel. Wednesday and Thursday nights are their snitzel nights. There is also a Roadhouse at North Shields which serves meals,papers, magazines, milk etc. When you arrive at Coasteyre Getaway we will have the keys for the front door in a keysafe with a code which we will give you. You will receive a breakfast basket with assorted small boxes of breakfast cereals, a dozen fresh farm eggs, milk, frozen loaf of bread to start you off until you get time to go shopping. There are also sample jam, honey, margarine, soap, shampoo/conditioner, toilet rolls and if you are honeymooning or celebrating a wedding anniversary, let us know as a bottle of wine & chocolates will be added to celebrate your special occasion. We have 2 adult mountain bikes & helmets for free use and a tractor to launch your boat for $50 hire per week. Please note this is a peaceful, relaxing place,(ie. no hooning or loud parties welcome please go elsewhere if this describes you). We have 2 tennis racquets and 4 good quality tennis balls there are 3 tennis courts in Louth Bay, we also have totem tennis on a pole for the children. Please leave the home as clean as you found it when you came. If we can help with anything just ring us we live only 15 minutes away.
