Eat Sleep Kyneton is Kyneton's newest and most stylish holiday house. We are talking no expense spared - gorgeous furnishings, everything you need in the kitchen, exquisite original artwork, antique prints and original photography by travel photographer Jonathan Hawley.
Eat Sleep Kyneton is in the heart of Kyneton which means you can walk to historic Piper Street and Mollison Street - and there are at least 20 restaurants, cafes and pubs within walking distance.
We are talking everything from casual cafes and "real" pubs right up to smart "hatted" restaurants - plus there is the monthly Saturday morning farmers' market for gathering your own fabulous fresh product.
The house itself is a gorgeous Victorian cottage from the outside, but slick and fully renovated for contemporary glam inside. There are four exquisite bedrooms (the main with ensuite), plus a main bathroom and a huge open-plan living, dining and kitchen area which opens onto a large outdoor entertaining deck and garden.
It is perfect for couples travelling together, families and "girlfriend getaways".
Luxury Facilities at Eat Sleep Kyneton
The house has everything you need for a weekend or a longer stay:
- four bedrooms (two twin rooms, one queen with WIR and ensuite, one king room). Sleeping up to eight. All bedrooms feature pillow top mattresses, 100% woollen blankets, doonas and high thread count pure cotton sheets.
- large bathroom with indulgent deep soaker bath and separate shower.
- full laundry with washing machine and dryer.
- two toilets (one in main bathroom, one in ensuite).
- large open plan living, dining, kitchen facing north.
- huge 4 seater couches, 42" LCD TV, DVD player, iPod dock, stereo.
- exquisite kitchen: stone benchtops, Miele appliances, dishwasher, large fridge; basic pantry provisions provided.
- dining table for up to 8 people
- outdoor entertaining deck with table (up to 8) and BBQ.
- gorgeous north-facing cottage garden.
- ducted central heating, gas log fire and air-conditioning.
Pets are now Welcome at Eat Sleep Kyneton
We now have a dog-proof fence around the property, so we are proud to announce that pets are now welcome at Eat Sleep Kyneton. They are welcome inside but of course, they need to be kept off the couches and beds.
The dogs who have holidayed at Eat Sleep Kyneton so far have given it "five paws"!
Pets will be considered by prior arrangement and agreement. A bond will need to be paid (or credit card details given) for all pet bookings. A fee of $50 per booking for pet stays will need to be paid.

We had a wonderful long weekend in your lovely house. We walked a lot, drove a lot and had far too much to eat. So many wonderful restaurants, cafes, etc. We even managed to fit in a "Picnic at Hanging Rock". What a great area to explore - we had a ball and a fabulous family weekend. Thanks a bunch!

Wow! The accommodation amazing. Location amazing. This was one amazing house! The location was great, went to lots of nice dinners. Love the games, played some scrabble. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us. Great bedrooms, lovely design. I would definitely recommend it to a friend. We didn't want to leave. Thanks for the wonderful weekend.

I forgot to write in the Guests' Book but wanted you to know we appreciated how well stocked the house was, how convenient it was to everything and how cosy and comfortable it was. We all said we could live there! Spent NYE at the Royal George - great food and a good night. The Albion was great pub food and Flouch's food was fantastic. Everything is lovely and the finishes are fabulous. Love the travel photos. Sparkling clean! This gorgeous house was just perfect for a girls birthday weekend in winter. We loved the cosy lounge, a well stocked kitchen for our Saturday night birthday feast and super comfortable beds. We also loved the plethora of interesting reads to be found within all the rooms of the house. We also ventured out into town and enjoyed fantastic food at Mr Carsisi, Little Swallow Cafe and Monsieur Pierre - Yumm!!! I highly reccommend :)

We had a fabulous time at Eat Sleep Kyneton. You have created a beautiful property that makes you want to stay longer than you have. All of us loved everything about it from the comfy beds, beautiful furniture, Jonathon's stunning photography, wide range of reading materials and those finer details such as quality linen, teapot with real tea, cotton balls - the list could just keep on going.
We didn't realise Kyneton was such a lovely town and how much it had to offer and the majority of people were so friendly. Marissa and Tony of the Albion Hotel couldn't have been more welcoming or friendly (along with Warren our waiter and Ken the Chef! - what a couple of characters!! We spent both evenings with these guys as they were such fun) and Jessie at the Dhaba At The Mill - amazing Indian food! We also tried the baked eggs at the Steam Mill Cafe - absolutely delicious and once again, such friendly service.
You have obviously put a lot of thought into creating Eat Sleep Kyneton so congratulations on creating a little piece of heaven in the perfect location. We certainly hope to return there in the future and will definitely recommend you to friends and family. Thank you also for being so accommodating - you made organising and staying such a breeze.

Baby boomers are a spoilt lot - and we were spoilt again during our recent stay at Eat Sleep Kyneton. Not only did the house offer wonderful facilities - comfy beds, lovely linen, and a well equipped kitchen - the added bonus was the location - within easy walking distance of a large selection of great restaurants, quirky gift shops and local produce suppliers. The house easily accommodates a large group - in very comfortable style! To be recommended as a summer or winter destination - definitely a foodies delight!

Perfection - it couldn't be faulted! Things we enjoyed:
Jenny's detailed information on Kyneton attractions and especially everything we needed to know about the house, equipment, etc.
The cosy central heating.
The wonderfully comfortable beds.
The superbly equipped kitchen and dining facilities.
The central location.
Jenny's quick response to any questions.
We plan a return visit as soon as possible!

We found Eat Sleep Kyneton superb in every respect. Before we had even arrived Jenny had supplied us with an abundant amount of information about the property and what Kyneton had to offer. The house has been beautifully renovated with every piece of equipment imaginable and easily accommodated the four couples. Everything in the house appeared brand new, including the games which we made good use of. The weather outside was cold but we were extremely cosy inside.

Highly recommended. I think we might have been the first people to stay, which felt like a real privilege. Superbly equipped kitchen, beautifully furnished, comfy lounge area (and gas log fire) and the house itself is in a great spot for exploring Kyneton on foot. Will come back in summer to take full advantage of the back verandah, BBQ and garden. There was eight of us staying and it was perfect for our group.
