Nearby you will find the intimate Merthyr Road shops with excellent shopping and dining facilities. The Judith Wright Centre is a short walk away along with a wide selection of cafes, restaurants and outdoor facilities along Brunswick Street. The latter includes the well-known New Farm Park with its excellent Powerhouse Museum and a great park for kids. There are great facilities on the Brisbane River for water activities, including rowing, and you can find plenty of places to jog or ride a bike. Free Internet.
