Salt is a 3 bedroom holiday home right on the edge of Smiths Lake in the Great Lakes region on the mid north coast of NSW.

Only 3 hours from Sydney, Salt is close enough for a weekend away yet it's laid back style and beautiful location will make you wish you could stay longer.

Salt's idyllic lakeside position provides a relaxing base for you to explore the popular Pacific Palms area, with Boomerang Beach, Blueys Beach and Cellito Beach less than 10 minutes away.

Private, secluded and tranquil, Salt comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests with a maximum of 4 adults, and is perfect for a cosy couple weekend, 2 x couples holidaying together or your next family get away.

While you're at Salt why not...

* Steam up in the sauna, cool down in the lake or throw a line in from the backyard and try your luck for dinner.

About Smiths Lake

Smiths Lake is a sheltered saltwater lake, separated from the sea by a spectacular sandbar and the pristine Celito Beach. While some areas are reserved as sanctuary, most of Smiths Lake is available for recreational use with fishing, windsurfing and kayaking popular lake activities. Fringed by national parks and reserves, the lake and it's surrounds are abundant with native wildlife.

With the area's more famous locations - Boomerang & Blueys Beach less than 10 minutes away, Smiths Lake offers the best of both worlds for those looking for the peace and quiet of a lakeside location with the coast's best beaches on your doorstep.

Fishing, lake sports, legendary surf beaches, national parks... you won't know where to begin.

* Hire a kayak or catamaran from Frothy Coffee and explore the lake, paddle out to Sandbar and discover Celito Beach.

* Take your board to Blueys or Boomerang Beach (less than 10 minutes away) and surf some of the best waves on the coast.

* For golf enthusiasts (and those that just like to "have a wack"), the 9 hole golf course on the road to Celito Beach is only 5 minutes away. With it's peaceful bushland setting and kangaroos on the course it's easy to forget how bad your last shot was.

* Or take a drive out to Seal Rocks and walk up to Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse for an amazing view of unspoilt beaches and the rugged Australian coastline.
