Situated at Sanctuary Point, 'Max's Place' overlooks the beautiful St. Georges Basin, facing due west. 'Max's Place' has undoubtably the best scenic view in the Basin.
To watch the sun setting over the Sassafras Range some 20Km away while seated at the BBQ-Patio, with the children playing in the yard, only makes one wonder, 'what are the other people doing?'
Bedrooms
There are two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a queen size bed.
The second bedroom has a bunk style double and single bunk.
In the lounge area is a double sofa bed.
Although the unit can sleep 7 people,for your comfort we recommend a maximum of 4 adults.
The main bedroom and dining/lounge windows overlook the Basin.

The Locality: St Georges Basin and Jervis Bay
St. Georges Basin and jervis Bay are noted for their swimming, fishing, canoeing and boating.
In Jervis Bay is the Booderee National Park with its white sandy beaches and many varied walking trails.
From Huskisson wharf one can go Doplhin and Whale watching a truely fantastic event.
The local St. Georges Basin Country Club has an excellent 18 hole golf course as well as tennis courts and bowling greens.
The club has good food, wine and beer available.
Finally the Basin is teeming with wildlife from artic sea eagles to parrots and kangaroos.

This is a nice, clean & quiet accommodation with thoughtful owners who respect your privacy and provide all the necessities to feel like home, incl. some complementary items in the fridge! With a serene view from main bedroom and living areas...our family didnt want to leave.

Thanks for a lovely, relaxing stay at Max's place - the unit was perfect and Maggie had thought of absolutely everything we needed (and more). We felt very welcome and the location is beautiful, right on the water and only a short drive to Jervis Bay. Very family friendly.

Just like home away from home! Max's place has everything you need, the rooms are very clean and the view is great. Only a short drive to Huskinsson, I will definitely recommend it to my friends.

Looking for somewhere to stay? We would highly recommemend Max's Place. Maggie made our stay very comfortable and relaxing. There was so many little touches that you don't get in a motel and that made our stay feel a little more like home. With comfortable beds and a wonderful view to enjoy we had a fantastic time, thank you Maggie and Max we will be back.

The accommodation was lovely and clean and had everything we needed, very comfortable. Thank you for all the little extras, the slice and the drinks were wonderful. Fabulous spot, peaceful with a water view. Only a short drive to Huskisson which we needed. Maggie was a lovely host and offered that extra touch which was appreciated. Will recommend and would return.

We loved Max`s place!
It was all we had hoped for and more! Maggie and Paul were lovely people and even offered us a complimentary late check out.
The view from the our courtyard over the basin was amazing. Just sit at sunset and enjoy.
Loved all those special little touches, such as the caramel slice on arrival and the offer of a morning paper.

A really fantastic find- Maggie and Paul couldn't have made us feel more welcome without being intrusive. A great location with a lovely deck/BBQ area so that you can make the most of the waterside setting. So many lovely touches- the caramel slice on arrival being just 1! Beautifully clean and everything you could want is provided which makes for a very enjoyable and comfortable stay.

What a wonderful place we discovered at Sanctuary Point. If you are looking for somewhere to stay, close to the pristine beaches of Jarvis Bay that is well presented, private and has terrific water views of St Georges Basin, then look no further. The hosts are very considerate, friendly but also respect the privacy of their guests. It is the small thoughtful touches that really set this place apart. We will definitely be back again!

I would highly recommend Max's place. Maggie made the booking process extremely easy and was very friendly and helpful during our stay. The property had everything we could possibly need, with a number of beautiful touches that really made you feel at home, including a plate of caramel shortbread to welcome us (much appreciated!) So close to the water and very peaceful - a perfect place for a break.
