The master bedroom upstairs has a queen bed, a large ensuite and a balcony.
Second bedroom has a double bed with a bunk, and an ensuite.
Downstairs is another master bedroom, a bathroom with bath, and access out through glass doors to the garden.
In the large lounge/dining area there are now 2 soft cushiony lounges one with a double sofa bed.......There is a plasma screen TV and DVD, while the dining table seats 8.
With sliding glass doors and windows on 4 sides there are plenty of cross breezes for your comfort.
There are Bosch appliances in the kitchen and granite bench-tops for your cooking pleasure.
Sliding glass doors lead out to sunny paved and grassed courtyard areas where there is a new barbecue with wok and outdoor setting for your relaxation, as well as an outdoor shower and drying line and the spacious double garage has opening doors on both sides.. This back area is gated.
What Can We Do Here???
Choices: Boat Harbour Beach. Protected and usually pretty calm for the little ones with play and picnic areas....
For the fisherman, direct access to the ocean across the sand to launch their boats, or maybe some rock fishing or snorkelling....
It is a 1km walk or bike ride to One Mile Beach for patrolled surfing...
or 4.5 kms to Birubi Beach (also patrolled) with the breathtaking Sand Dunes.
Just down the road is a rocky promontory where you can often sight the annual trek of the Whales...
If you would like a game of tennis there are courts for hire just a stroll from the house, or a game of golf just 10 minutes away at the 27 hole Nelson Bay Golf Club.
There is a large Swimming Centre, Toboggan Hill, Rock Climb, Camel Rides, 4 Wheel Driving, Dolphin Watching Cruises, Bowling, shark & ray feeding etc. etc.,
Or, just walk, the scenery is breathtaking whatever direction you take.
What About Shops???
Just a short drive away is the village of Anna Bay.
Here you will find The Butcher, The Baker and the Veggie Man.. also a Supermarket and DVD Store, Fish and Chip Shop, Cafes, Petrol Station and The Tavern.
About 10 minutes away is the Salamander Shopping Centre with K Mart, Woolworths, Coles and lots of cafes, shops and a Harvey Norman etc..
About 10 minutes in the other direction is Nelson Bay Town Centre. Here we have many shops a wonderful choice of restaurants then direct access to the waterfront area with more restaurants and shops overlooking the Marina
3kms on is scenic Shoal Bay with its cafes and restaurants along the beach front and
if you are feeling energetic there is the Climb up Tomaree Headland for the most spectacular views.........(approx 50 minutes)
In the other directions it is a lovely drive to Soldiers Point Marina with more restaurants and another boat ramp accessing all the waterways of Port Stephens....
Yes you say.... I will need at least a week, but, then, maybe two!!!!!!!
