The house is centrally located at 56 Butler Street which is a 1 minute walk (100 metres) to central Byron Bay shops, cafes, restaurants and a 2 minute walk (500 metres) to Main Beach.
Betsy's has four spacious bedrooms with ceiling fans in 3 and reverse cycle air in 2. There are 3 bathrooms (2 brand new ensuites with gorgeous glass mosaic tiles) and a fabulous outdoor bath. There are also 2 separate living areas. The home is filled with character but contains all the modern conveniences.The lounge room has wonderful King Furniture and a large 140cm TV. One of the front bedrooms has a Stephlea 4 poster Queen bed and leadlight windows, another has an antique King bed. The third bedroom has a Queen Bed and the fourth has 3 single beds, including a new Ikea Trundle Bed. Additional lounge, TV, DVD player, new washing machine and dryer and an ice maker fridge.
A modern kitchen and dining area with a beautiful outdoor setting and outdoor hot bath make for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We also have available the use of a high chair, portacot and stroller if you require.
The house is all on one level.
Enjoy the back deck and day bed which overlooks well established tropical gardens and offers the perfect place to sit, enjoy a morning coffee or enjoy a relaxing hot/cold bath in the leafy surrounds.
The property is also fully fenced, so perfect for young children and the teenagers can come and go as they please.
Byron swimming pool is located about 2 minutes away, near Main Beach. It is a short walk to the shops (including Woolworths and Aldi) but also quiet and peaceful.
You will be able to walk 100 metres to the wonderful Byron Farmers Market at the Butler Street Reserve each Thursday morning (from 8am to 11am) and the Byron Bay Market held on the 1st Sunday of every month.

Lovely private cottage in the perfect location. Great for hitting the shops, beach, pubs and restaurants.
Great back yard, nice and private and perfect for chilling out with a nice bottle of wine.

Another fantastic stay at Betsy's at Byron. Fabulous modern cottage with PLENTY of space and room for the 4 young kids. Had everything we needed for our stay. So close to the hub of Byron - one street away - and only a short stroll to the beach... this is our second stay at Betsy's - and we'll be back again without a doubt.

Myself and 4 of my girlfriends stayed here for 3 nights and had an absolute ball! There was more than enough room for all of us. The backyard was just amazing and the perfect place to relax with a good book. The beds were super comfortable and the location was perfect. We didn't have a car but we didn't have a problem getting around as the town centre was a 2 minute walk away. Highly recommend Betsy's at Byron if your looking for a centrally located house while staying in Byron.

Betsy's at Byron delivered everything we asked for, spacious entertainment areas (both indoors and outdoors), enough bedrooms and bathrooms to cater for a large number of people and a large kitchen equiped with everything necessary and much more. The fact that the house was situated within walking distance to practically everything in Byron Bay was an added bonus along with the comfort of the luxurious spa bath. We would highly recommend this house to anyone seeking a relaxing week away.

We just spent 2 wonderful weeks staying at Betsy's at Byron. As an adult family (3 large loud teenagers) with 2 dogs, we relished the space and layout. Kids lounging in front of the massive wall-mounted flat screen TV while adults enjoyed the serenity of the daybed on the large rear verandah with a book, magazine and/or "soothing" vodka. The kitchen is really well appointed with most mod cons. Dining options are inside or outside. We made good use of the BBQ and backyard. The location is perfect for walking access to the beach and shopping. We hardly touched the car for 2 weeks. All in all we had a perfect holiday and would recommend Betsy's to everyone as a great holiday destination in Byron. We will most definitely be back!

It is the second time we have stayed at Betsy's and I love it as it has the "old Byron feel" with the cute but spacious (enough)weatherboard bungalow style house perfectly located close to all the action (and supermarket) but only two blocks away from beach. It has a secluded feel once inside with a lovely private garden setting. Great new bathrooms!

Betsy's position in the heart of Byron Bay meant everything was close by, and a car wasn't necessary. We found the house had everything needed for our comfort. Our stay was short but the peace and serenity we enjoyed at Betsy's, especially on the back deck area, provided us with the benefits of a much longer stay. We hope to return another year.

As 5 adults travelling from Sydney to Byron Bay for a friend's wedding, we had a fantastic time staying at Betsy's. We loved the relaxed feel of the house, and found it to be very clean so nice to walk around barefoot on the lovely floorboards. We especially loved the back porch area with day bed, and the bedrooms with ensuite were a delight too. The location was great with the main town only 200 metres away and the beach only a few minutes walk. We would definitely recommend staying at Betsy's.

We felt right at home and the location is just awesome. Just a short walk to the beach and the shops.
The garden setting was very relaxing and the outdoor bath was a big hit with the 3 kids.
The house had everything we needed and the kitchen was fully equipped.

Loved our stay at "Betsys" great for our girls weekend away, there were 7 women so having 3 bathrooms was fantastic. The house had everything we needed we didn't need to go anywhere, but when we did all was just a short walk. We flew to Ballina so had no car and didn't need one. The house was immaculate and plenty of space with 2 living areas and very well equipped kitchen. would definitely stay again.

Location is brilliant, walking distance to absolutely everything. The property was absolutely spotless and it has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The outdoor bath was magnificent, especially for a cooler day where it was too cold to go for a swim in the beach... the kids loved it! I loved the daybed every afternoon and for breakfast. We have two small children and the yard and property in general were ideal. The bright bedrooms took a few mornings to get used to but it was all very comfortable... looking forward to our next stay...

We loved every minute of our stay at Betsy's, enjoying the mix of the old-style house with very modern furniture & appliances. The kids especially loved the outdoor bath, which enabled the adults to relax nearby & chat. As Betsy's is within easy walk of town, we left our cars at home & strolled to the beach, cafes & shops. This charming home has so much to offer, it has all been thought out so well including the lovely gardens which you enjoy whilst hanging out on the daybed drinking a glass of wine and listening to the amazing serenity. We loved how Byron was at our doorstop, beaches, restaurants, entertainment, markets and so much more we were spoilt with choice just being able to walk everywhere. Thank you for letting us have an amazing 2weeks and discovering Byron in your gorgeous home.

Wonderful Byron house retreat. Only one block from Jonson st but felt a secluded world away with lovely leafy garden and a porch with day bed that was hard to leave. Tastefully renovated 'old school' house with a bright modern kitchen & high ceilings that flows into a somewhat small living room. Air conditioning was a life saver. A great place to relax and then amble into town/beach on Byron time. Hope to be back soon.

We had a wonderful stay at Betsy's at Byron. The house captures the essence of Byron Bay: Relaxed, comfortable and tasteful. The layout is perfect when travelling with kids and friends. The location was very convenient, we didn't need a car once with the cafe's/restaurants a 10min walk, the beach 15min and the market just around the corner. Cane, our host was very helpful in the booking and throughout our stay when we had a question. We can fully recommend Betsy's - we will be back.

A great cottage so close to the centre of town and the beach - there was plenty of room for our family of 6, including 4 young kids, who loved the yard and living space in the house. The bedrooms are also a good size, and the bathrooms are new - roomy and modern. The house was toddler and kid friendly (with travel cot, pram and high chair provided) and the yard is fully fenced (front and back).

We loved our stay in Byron at Betsy's, this charming old house was great for our short stay with the 5 of us. It was a short stroll to the beach and local stores which was great. I think once the extensions are finished this house will be an even better place to stay.

A fabulous place to stay! We would highly recommend staying at Betsy's at Byron to anyone especially for a relaxing family holiday in a beautiful spot. The decore was gorgeous, the house is spacious and the outdoor bath is perfect for the kids especially after a day at the beach! And for the adults the daybed on the verandah was ideal for a quick siesta or a G&T in the afternoon. So yes we loved it and look forward to returning again some day very soon ...
