Mount Hawthorn cottage is a renovated and fully refurbished and extended upmarket Californian bungalow. We cater for executives and families. The house is situated opposite beautiful Menzies Park with its excersise equipment and playground for the children. In the winter months the local teams play Aussie Rules, summer months, Cricket.
Stroll to the Mezz, Mount Hawthorn for all your shopping needs and cafes. The Paddo (hotel) is just a short stroll and Leederville is just down the road with its many cafes and quirky shops and also the local cinema, you can actually catch the train at Glendalough Train Station if you dont feel like driving.
Transport is just across the park, and the train station a 5 minute walk, which will take you to Perth city, (2 train stops).

The city centre is only 5km away and Scarborough Beach 10km away. Visit Kings Park, Perths world renowned botanic gardens where Western Australias unique plant flaura is on display year round. Visit their website for more information.

Locally there are two cinemas to attend the first is Luna Outdoor Cinema in Leederville and the other is Moonlight Cinema in Kings Park so why not pack a picnic, some wine and a rug and venture out and catch up on the latest movies, an old classic or something alternative. Scarborough Beach has the best white sand surf beach in the world. This beach is only 10 minutues away by car or you can catch the local bus. This is an ideal Indian Ocean destination to relax and catch some waves.
